A continuation of the well-known Project Vita map, but a more advanced version of it, both in terms of the number of provinces and their reliability in many places.

Like Project Vita 1.0, the map is intended to be used in mods to make gameplay more fun.

Below is a link with a mod in which you can familiarize yourself with this map. There are scenarios for the 20th and 21st centuries to choose from (future versions will have more scenarios for more eras). Some scenario elements are taken from the Cruel Ages mod

Future versions will also appear sooner or later, because... I still have a lot of ideas that I haven’t had time to implement yet. If possible, the map will be transferred to AoC3 when it is released (as I heard that such an opportunity will be available)


The development of the mod is now being done by me, since the previous developer lost interest in its development

This Medium Map project was started in Google+ after the Mars Project. It's objectives were to extend the historical border accuracy in the original map of AOC1, while creating some actual provinces or countries merged with other provinces/countries in the original AOC map.

This project started when I noticed that there was no territorial changes between Germany and Poland before/after WW1. I also noticed the lack of Konigsberg/Kaliningrad in the map. That lead me to draw new province borders to create more historic accuracy in original AOC scenarios. First was Poznan, then Austrian Galicia, East Prussia, Pre/Post WW1 borders, the borders after the Vienna Award, along with making new provinces to balance the province amount of the countries.

As you can see, this map not only has minimum provinces, but you could also create scenarios like WW1/2, 1440(mostly), 5AD, the American Civil War, Ancient Korean Kingdoms, the expansion of the US, the European Colonialism Era, and other historic events.

This would not only create simple gameplay but also revive the old AOC map with better border accuracy.

This was initially called the Medium Map Project, but I am changing the name into LESS Provinces.

There are 3620+ provinces in total, including 8000x6480 ultra-high definition China map!

Provinces include China, Mongolia and Tuva,Northern India, Siberia, Korea, North Indochina, Northern Thailand and the Epidemic North.

For now I'm just sharing my results.

PROJECT: ALPHA V0.1.5 | BIG UPDATE!

Project: Alpha is a mod in which a map is approximately 3 times larger than the normal map. In addition to the map, there are new UI, new backgrounds, new ideologies and religions, new icons, new civilizations, new formable civilizations, 35 new scenarios, new musics and sounds, the new font etc. The first version of the mod failed to meet expectations.
