	I think unions are kind of bugged as they became very easy, where I had more than 20 available unions, and after making a union I still had more unions to the level where I could conquer the world by only making unions.

	I don't know if the game is programmed this way. But I've found that you can form nations without owning all the provinces. I was able to form the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere and get its achievement with only two provinces. Also, if you become Holy Roman Emperor as Bohemia or Austria, or any other country in the region, and enact all the reforms until you unify all the countries, you can still form the HRE while being the HRE.

	<strong>I keep getting "End of the siege" events </strong>during wars that allow me to loot and burn a province for money and devastation of the province, <strong>but...they're only ever causing devastation in my provinces.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	I'm playing as the Aztec Empire in my current game, and after starting a war in India, despite only provinces in the enemy nation in India ever being under siege, (They've not touched any of my provinces in the region, let alone any across the Pacific.) the siege event named, and caused devastation inside the province of Morelia, which is over in Mexico!
</p>

<p>
	I'm not sure why, but these province looting/devastation events are only targeting the nation of the army that triggered them rather than the regions they're laying siege to.<br />

	I played as Silesia and made union with Poland, then I changed civ to Teutonic Order and it had Silesia-Poland name, then I changed to Bohemia and it changed name to Silesia-Poland.

	Just got aoh3 on my pc and got to say it's pretty cool compared to aoh2 and would love to potentially senarios. However keeps completely freezing randomly, cannot do anything but still hear clicking sounds and the date flickering, sometimes crashing. playing at speed 5 it reaches around 1500 untill a crash (from 1440). I am pretty sure my pc is fine as it can games like Victoria 3 and is smooth throught gameplay.

	I tried to look up potential fixes but unfortunately no results, tried logs as well but no logs are ever created after crashes, but even so the crashes are not the problem; it is the freezes. If anyone has a fix that would be great otherwise I will have to refund the game.

	I am leaving this list simply to inform the community about these bugs, in the hope that someone will fix them someday. A detailed list is available on <a href="https://trello.com/b/wUJd04h0/age-of-history-3-bugs" rel="external nofollow">this public Trello board</a> (no login required for this one <span class="ipsEmoji">🙂</span>). All bugs have been confirmed in the current version of the game, in the beta branch on Steam (02/08/2025).

		<strong><a href="https://trello.com/c/UrIuoGJ9/16-province-maintenance-is-calculated-incorrectly" rel="external nofollow">Province maintenance is calculated incorrectly</a></strong>. The cost of maintaining a province takes into account economy three times, and also ignores tax efficiency and manpower level. An in-game hint shows a different formula for calculating.

		<strong><a href="https://trello.com/c/AMTNfdwi/18-ai-does-not-understand-the-penalty-for-exceeding-the-regiment-limit" rel="external nofollow">AI does not understand the penalty for exceeding the regiment limit</a>. </strong>This is noticeable when you increase the penalty for exceeding the regiments limit. AI removes too many regiments, often the entire army, to reduce the cost of army maintenance to an acceptable level. After that, it builds new regiments, spending extra gold and leaving itself defenceless.

	<li>
		<strong><a href="https://trello.com/c/SegeQt2a/21-using-both-addruler-and-changeideology-as-a-outcome-of-an-event-results-in-the-ruler-not-being-created" rel="external nofollow">Using both add_ruler and change_ideology as a outcome of an event results in the ruler not being created.</a> </strong>The card contains a small example where I am trying to create Fidel Castro and change the form of government to communism at the same time. Swapping these outcomes does nothing, as well as specifying the actual image_id instead of "-1". Removing "change_ideology" results in ruler being created successfully.

	<li>
		<strong><a href="https://trello.com/c/tNcFy65C/15-localmanpower-is-apllied-incorrectly" rel="external nofollow">LocalManpower bonus from buildings is apllied incorrectly.</a> </strong>The card shows an example of it not working.

		<strong><a href="https://trello.com/c/hyjyTZ56/14-constructiontimebonus-and-constructioncost-for-buildings-applied-incorrectly" rel="external nofollow">ConstructionTimeBonus and ConstructionCost bonuses from buildings are applied incorrectly</a>.</strong> This is noticeable for ConstructionGuild building. The bonus only works if it is equal to -1, in which case it will reduce time\cost by -100%. It seems that the game reads this value as an integer rather than a float. The card contains a detailed example.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong><a href="https://trello.com/c/jKzqFT9g/10-bonusloanslimit-is-applied-incorrectly" rel="external nofollow">Event outcome "bonus_loans_limit" is applied incorrectly</a>. </strong>It should increase the number of possible loans by, say, +2, but instead it increases them by +2% (which in fact means that it does not increase their number). I expect it to increase the number of loans by +2, because that's how Łukasz uses this bonus in the ‘Recruit All Advisors’ mission (in that mission it increases the number of loans by +1%).

	Im playing a Macbook version of AoH3 and I've noticed a strange thing. It looks like the game somehow doesn't update to beta features despite selecting the correct option (betatests) in the properties - after launching the game, I dont see features such as "chaos mode" or option to send ultimatums to my vassals. 
</p>

<p>
	The latest beta feature which is visible in the game is the option to release any civilisation as a vassal.
</p>

<p>
	I tried restarting Steam, reinstalling the game, updating java, did Steam troubleshooting - no result.
</p>

<p>
	EDIT: I just got a proof that game files werent updated at all - i extracted them and checked <span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">GV_Diplomacy.json for new values related to ultimatum. 	So for now in modern world and probably other scenarios randomly most of civilizations got pagan religion.<br />
	For example Romania (one of the most orthodox countries) is for some reason pagan and other countries and I played this game maybe week ago (didn't even went to editor) and didn't have this problem. <br />
	I checked in civilizations editor and for example Afghanistan is set default as pagan and European <span class="ipsEmoji">🫥</span><br />

	There is an error in the game code when calculating the morale bonus. When the game analyzes the resource bonuses and proceeds to calculate the maxmorale bonus, it treats the general's defense bonus as a morale bonus. 
</p>

<p>
	Wine increases a general's defense bonus by +2, but it also causes a +200% increase in morale. This can be seen for France in the 1440, 1618, and 1821 scenarios as it is the largest wine producer.

	When we start the game, the game will not load the charset of the file "Bundle_cn_sp.properties" in the mods folder.

<p>
	This results in the additional charset  in the translation file being ineffective (and thus causing missing words).
</p>

<p>
	If I want the game to display alomst all the words, I need to overwrite the translation file to the local.
</p>

<p>
	Can this issue be fixed ？/ Can this situation be improved ?

	I have some problems with additing new flags in the in-game flag editor. The game doesn't want to add new masks from the mod folder, but it works when I put new mask in the game's gfx folder. The game only take new divisions.json file!

	<span style="font-size:26px;">After I examined the files the problem seemed to be quite complex.</span><br />
	let me start with saying that after deleting one of the following files that are highlighted in red, the map editor seems to start open again!

	deleting one of them caused the map editor to open, BUT it appeared broken. But If i kept ALL the files and deleted none of them. The map editor refuses to open. I am not smart enough to look for the problem. But I dont think deleting the files would fix it either. This is how it would appear to me when I delete one of the files:-
