    Development Continues! Age of Civilizations is a game that focuses on grand strategy, politics and other government driven elements. Łukasz Jakowski however, included something in the game that is rare in other grand strategy games. Customization. Customizing civilizations, leaders, maps, Whole scenarios, events in these scenarios, etc, etc... This, i think is a very good thing. The only bad thing about this, is that the game focuses more on the custom creative aspect than the realistic grand strategy one. This mod is going to be an overhaul for both these things. Unfortunately, a mod with the same goals named Addon+ is being created right now. My mod is still in a Debug alpha phase, and i can't release it in a state like this. This mod will include the following list of things: Translated Loading Screens Scenarios: The Great War (World War I) With historical events, leaders and custom civilizations, starting in 1st of January, 1914. (I've started doing it, The events are halfway done!) Overhauling the World War II Scenario in the following ways: Adding historical events with descisions. Setting an other start time for the Scenario for better readiness. Giving More corresponding bonuses to leaders given by their personality. Scenario "Die Folge" (The aftermath) happening right after the first world war, (Yes, believe it or not, lots of stuff happened after the first world war) containing a variety of events. Scenario "A Modern Mona Lisa" Containing the events of mostly Hitler taking control over germany (1920-1930). If you want to play as a country, that is falling apart at the moment, this is for you. A Cold War Scenario is also being made, but i'm not promising anything for this one. Backgrounds: Including a large variety of backgrounds, from a realistic one with every little mountain on earth, to a low resolution one for computers that can't handle the mod that good. Government, ideologies: From the leftist Communism the the Extreme right Fascism there are an estimate of ~15 ideologies being made right now including governments that are only avalible on 1 country in real life, or none anymore such as Patriotism (Hungary) Democratic Republic, Deposit Monarchy, so on and so forth. Planning on creating an election system for democratic countries just like in Hearts of Iron IV. Languages: Yes, every Scenario, Custom Leader, Loading screen and such will be translated into other*1 languages. Custom Maps: Custom Maps will be added to the mod, with custom scenarios, so people can create something new on a new map. Current map plans include Hungary, Austria, Germany, Washington, Nagykanizsa, Hungary, Budapest, Hungary, The map of Graz and Pangea. Leaders: Of course, if we make scenarios, we need to make sure, that we have good leaders for each scenario. From a Revolutionary Gavrillo Princip to an alternative timeline Franz Ferdinand, there will be as much leaders as possible. Thank you for reading! Current Status: Started with V0.0.2.8 on 3rd of October 2019 Systems: -There will be lots of new stuff in the game, as we just decompiled it. These new system include: -More types of Vassals (Dominion, Colony, Crown Colony, State, Soviet Socialist State, etc, etc...) -Democratic elections all four years, if the country is: Democratic, Republic, City State, Patriotism -Ideological support system (See: hearts of iron 4) as you do your actions -Changing the values of terrains, planning before war nescessary -Adding seasons, each one having it's own effects on attacks, income and happiness -Adding religions -David *1: Other: This mod will not be translated to all languages, as that would be pretty hard to make.     Seriously? that's unfair, it's never happened to me, because I do not like modern maps, so I do not play them, but if that's not a bug, it's programmed to be that way, so the only solution is that you conquer the fastest ones possible to Russia, or from time to time you ask for peace by taking away the provinces little by little.

    Will puppets be able to be in the game? (Unlike vassals they don't have to pay you money and you can control their armies; recruit them for either you or them and build in them) Will Antarctica be added? Btw this definitely turning into ideas I have for the mod now.

    290 BCE Scenario [Beta 1.8]

    This is a scenario in the year 290 BCE, it may not be one of the most interesting ages but personally it captivates me. In this "Demo" of sorts, you can rule europe as rome or maybe continue the might of the Seleucid Empire. It's all up to you. I'm in need of some suggestions on what do to fix on the current map, so be free to criticise every little minor detail. Currently I added 4 tribes in Iberia, but soon I'll add tribes all over europe and maybe even the new world and Asia.     when i put your scenario in my game and try to play it , it shows me ERROR , maybe becuase Ds Store file and civilizations editor file , i am confused, what i have to do with that file and where i have to put it ?

    My mod will give the player the option of whether he wants to eliminate the leaders and leave the dynasties alone or have both. In my opinion, do not put leaders in your maps, in this way you do not spend time investigating, and you can invest in recreations. But everything depends on you. And you should not do anything, the only thing you would have to do is give me permission to publicize your scenarios and put the dynasties. You should not do anything more than make your maps.

    I'm doing a mod of dynasties and I would like my mod to be compatible with your maps, would not that bother you? I will leave you a link of what I intend to do, it is in Spanish because I put it in the Spanish-speaking community but then I will post a post in English. (it is not necessary to read the comments, the Hispanics started talking about other issues, nothing to do with the xD mod)

    Look, I get it, Lukasz is only one guy working on such a massive project, and, I mean, that's cool, he's already achieved a lot, he made an amazing game, full of scenarios and possibilities, wanna play as fascist Turkey in the modern world? Go for it! Maybe communist France during WW2, and ally to the Soviet Union? Heck yeah! Sure, there are a few bugs here and there, but the game is still pretty solid, I only have one problem with it.... The A.I., when you're playing a strategy game, the AI needs to be good (unless it's a multiplayer strategy game, but AOC II is singleplayer), otherwise you won't be challenged, it can be either a smart A.I., that you will need to think hard about what their decisions will be, and try to outsmart them, or an unfair AI, that is given advantages that the player doesn't have, the AoC II A.I. isn't unfair, but it isn't smart either, they will declare wars like a bunch of mad men, won't start alliances and their different ideologies actually don't change much, oh, and don''t get me started on their wars, they either spam all of their men or just don't move whatsoever, even when they have an advantage over their enemies. My suggestion isn't too complicated, it's just to make it so that the A.I. will follow a certain "pattern", depending on their ideology and power (as in population, industry, and money.), give each country a goal, and countries with similar goals will have a high change of forming an alliance, for example, a fascist country that is relatively strong, such as Germany in the WW2 start date, and able to succeed in wars agaisnt smaller nations would have a conquering goal, they would want to get more land, while big democratic/communist countries would rather get puppets, it can either be automatic goals, randomly generated for certain countries, depending on their power and ideology, or be goals made for certain countries in certain start dates, I've already noticed that very small and weak countries are generally the only ones to start alliance, I've seen Luxembourg and Isle of Men creating alliances in most of my Modern World games, so it would follow a similar pattern to that.

    Theres a lot of broken things about the game. Especially the events. I'd say 80% of it doesn't work, or doesn't have what I need, and has a bunch of useless crap.

    You need to fill more of the map, also there in the south of the Italian peninsula are far more nations then just that single one same with Anatolia, and you used 1922 Egypt instead of Ptolemaic Egypt. No hate just helping

    But there are difficulty differences there too. For example, playing as the Aztecs is easier than playing as a northwestern American country.

    The hardest nation to play is always the faction we choose. When we prepared 3k soldiers for war, our enemies already have like 5k men. In the end, we got killed😂😂😂😂😂.
