Addon+ is a global modification that adds interest to the game process !!!Update 1.4 Final has been released!!! Download (Windows): [ Google ; Yandex ; Mail ] Installation: Download the clean version of AoC II. Run the downloaded mod file, select the" Destination folder " location where the game is installed and click extract. If you have a licensed version of the game on steam, you do not need to change anything. This video shows the process of installing the mod on PC. Main innovations of update 1.4 Final ‣ Fixed bugs of previous update. Incorrect boundaries, poor elaboration, etc. were almost completely eliminated. ‣ For one reason or another, some scenarios are cut, the rest are replaced with higher-quality analogues. ‣ New and replaced scenarios: 1910, 1914, 1918, 1930, 1933, 1936, 1939, 1941, 1943, 1944, Late 1944, 1945, 1949, 1961, 1988, 1991, Red World, Another World, Kaiserreich (original), Modern World (Modern world without diplomacy and precise geopolitical situation), regions of Europe, Regions of North America, Regions of Central Asia. * New, atmospheric soundtrack, consisting of 78 songs. * The reference menu has been edited. * Completely redesigned from scratch formed States. * Replaced some of the sounds. * 10 new provinces on the map "Earth+". * Changed some color palettes, these include Modern World, Modern Day, The New Order, Kaiserreich. * Translation has undergone significant changes, now it is more simple and generalized. * Cut and rebalanced some ideologies. * For further development and optimization removed all leaders. * Small changes in UI. * Map texture fixed in some places. * New font. * AI in some scenarios, it can often change the ideology. Hi, i have big idea but im facing even bigger difficulties. :) I will draw detailed map of south balkan (or even whole balkan) , ideal for bunch of scenarios, but i don't know how to transform those maps into provinces. I don't have pc, so i will need your help. If someone can import those maps into image to province tool for me, it will be lifesaving. Answer me please, so i can know should i start my work. I will not start drawing if there is no response. :) Its pointless. Thanks in advance. Im thinking about 1500+ provinces. By now, i drew provinces for north macedonia. (I don't know why, maybe because its small country) So here is the number of provinces so far. Next will be Montenegro and Serbian province of Kosovo. I need to do research about territory areas. Expect the most accurate calculations about land size. - North Macedonia - 25713 km² (100 provinces) Done. ✓ - Province Of Kosovo (de facto independent from Serbia) - 10887 km² (42 provinces) Done ✓ - Montenegro - 13812 km² (53 provinces) Done ✓ - Albania - 28748 km² (112 provinces) Done ✓ - Serbia - 77474 km² + 10887 km² (301+42 provinces) WIP -Bosnia - 51129 km² (199 provinces) WIP Croatia - 56594 km² (220 provinces) WIP Slovenia - 20273 km² (79 provinces) WIP Hungary - 93030 km² (362 provinces) WIP Romania - 238397 km² (927 provinces) WIP Bulgaria - 110.993 km² (432 provinces) WIP Greece - 131957 km² (513 provinces) WIP Moldova - 33847 km² (132 provinces) WIP Small part of Turkey - Will be calculated Small part of Italy - Will be calculated. Final number of provinces is 3472, plus Turkey and Italy, Austria and other countries, and thats gonna be around 4500-5000 provinces. Huge bite i guess. :)

MILITARY Army Morale Army has morale as hp bar. When it reach 0 the army retreat. The chances of army recreating depends on general skill and technology difference. General Each army need a general. Army that doesn't have general has -50% morale. When a general die in a battle it decrease army morale by 50% and have 10% chances to retreat. General skills 1 ⭐ general to 5 ⭐ general Each ⭐ increase morale by 2% Retreat chances : ⭐ - 60% ⭐⭐ - 70% ⭐⭐⭐ - 80% ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - 90% ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -100% No general - 10% Siege Province occupation : No fortress - 1 turn Lv 1 fortress - 2 turn Lv 2 fortress - 3 turn Lv 3 fortress - 4 turn Garrison Each fortress have garrison. Each level add 1000 garrison army. A fortress province need at least equivalent amount of army to occupied. An army will never occupy a fortress province if it has less army than the garrison. Technology Each point of military weapon technology increase 10% attack. (because there is no way a tribe with spear need same amount of army that equipped with gun and have an even casualties in a battle) I'll think about unit type that range from early civilization to modern era later. I don't know how to mod to add all these stuff, probably need some programming (which is I don't know a thing). I just give an idea that will improve the game. Unrelated stuff: Stellaris ancient relic is out.

Hello everybody! This is my Scenario, Europe in 1989. I have made events all the way up to 1993 currently, my plans are to have at least a Europe starting in 1989 with events that lead up to a decently accurate modern day scenario, so you can practically watch it in spectator mode like one of those History of Europe - every year videos with little to no interference. How I do this is make an event to create a large non - aggression pact, so the AI doesn't go crazy and make horrifying border gore. Future Updates: More Yugoslav Wars (Yugoslav Wars are actually not finished yet) Expansion of EU alliance events Russian annexation of Crimea events Collapse of the Soviet Union event chain Making it a bit easier to survive and not collapse as the USSR Syrian civil war Pictures: My main goal here is to make the most historically accurate events possible. So if you find any errors, or have any suggestions, PLEASE tell me! In some ways, this can be considered a little less player friendly as not all but a few events may be forced upon you. Not quite yet. I wasn't able to get that far in the summer when I worked extensively on the scenario, and I don't know when I will have time again.
  16. 1 point
You have to download the scenario, open up steam (If on PC) and browse the server files until you get to a folder called "Scenarios", click on the folder and drag my scenario in there. Its like this: Steam >> Library >> Age of Civilizations II >> Properties >> Local Files >> Browse Local Files >> Map >> Earth_AoC1 >> Scenarios If you still don't know how to do it, open up a tutorial on YouTube.

If you're not so pacient on taking diplomacy with everyone and likes war as this game is dedicated, welcome, this post may help you with some war tactics on this game 1 - Let them attack: first of all, if you build a good defense against a weaker and smaller nation (Example: China vs North Korea) Let them attack until their economies are struggled, (this may be noticed if they attack with less troops), then after all the attacks, strike violently against the enemy and win the war with low resistance. 2 - Don't be sieged: NEVER let any enemy siege your army, it may makes it without supplies and weaken army, you may lose alot of troops, that is not glorious and the enemy may push back against you, also do sieges against strong armies of like 2000+ soldiers to weaken the enemy. 3 - Allies: Allies are the cherry of the cake in this game, with allies together both of you can beat a stronger nation (example Camboja and Laos vs Thailand) they also have a nice force that may help you alot in battle, also if your army is completely destroyed, your ally can still hold the positions when you're recovering your army, i've used this tactic alot of times and worked pretty well. 4 - You're never overprepared: Thinking that you're overprepared for any war can be some kind of illusion, (don't think like you can't take luxembourg with 70000 troops, please) this game is a box of surprises that can destroy you some time (example: 3 nations may declare war at you at the same turn), you need to have absolute trust that you're going to take that country. 5 - Have a good economy: To have a good army, you need first to have a very well developed economy, so you can still be stabilized with an enormous army spending, this may help you to recover the army in case of emergencies, if not have a good economy, VERY HIGH CHANCE of your treasure be negative and you lose cause you can't rebuild the army. 6 - Armoury and Supply camps: NEVER forget about these 2 buildings, they ABSOLUTELY are important for your wars: Armoury: Basically troops become cheaper, very good for builds of enormous armies Supply Camps: Very important if you're invading a big country (Example: invading russia) Thank you all for the attention, Hope i helped you alot, if you got any extra tips, comment it, it may help new players to get good at this kinda complicated game. - Yetaloz

Daaamn, nice. Are you interested in collaboration? I have one map that im working on for weeks, but i dont have resources (pc) to import it into game. Its about huge balkan map with realistic territory and provinces numbers. When i finish it, it should gave us number of more than 5000 provinces. Take a look.

That is the closest we have to the current one. Most of the things are the exact same as they are in-game. Until the map editor somes out, that one should be fine.

    Ranking System

Prestige To calculate the final score, the game uses a for loop for every province that you own/ occupy, meaning that it applies a formula to every province which is as follows: p = 2.25 * (0.125 + 0.875 * Growth Rate) * (0.785 + 0.215 * Technology Level) * Core * (0.375 + 0.625 * Development Level) With the Core modifier being circumstantial, if the province is a core province then the modifier is 1.0. Else if it isn't, the modifier is 0.475; and the technology modifier having an upper bound of 1.0. Now the final prestige score is as follows: Prestige = Σp + 17.5 * Technology Level; rounded up to the nearest integer. with Σp being the sum of every p value of every province that you own / occupy, and the technology level having no upper bound. Economy For the economy score, every province is applied to a formula as following: e = Economy / (Starting Economy / 16.25) * (0.425 + 0.675 * Development Level) * (0.275 + 0.725 * Province Stability) The final economy score is: Economy = Σe; rounded up to the nearest integer. with Σe being the sum of every e value of every province that you own / occupy. As for population score I'm still quite unsure, I will probably have to study it later. Feel free to correct any mistakes. >t. having looked up the source code

I think that you should add multiplayer into the game,it would be so cool to play with other people, there should also be contests like tournaments so people can go against each other.
