    Great news! Thanks to my friend-coder Mikhail Russkih we solved the problem of leaders in Norrvägen. Now it is possible to change the leaders of countries. This is feature we asked the developer about. This became possible thanks to just one new line added to the game code. It turns out that the developer was too lazy to add just one small line to the code in response to our requests. And at the same time, the developer tells tales about the new AoC 3! Now you understand how much he does not respect his audience. Recently, he seems to deliberately make players and modders feel a bitter sense of disappointment. And the fools keep liking tweets like "I'm glad I have so many great fans!" and they still lick the developer from head to toe. So, below you can watch a video where we show the test of our update.     Age of Civilizations 2: Ultimate Overhaul It's been a while! Welcome, dear people, who are still interested in the Development of UO! I do not know why the discord invite is invalid, i set it to forever, lmao. So, I'm back. (Again), and we are still working on the mod. But due to the current situation of the Virus in europe, this all can just crumble down. I am happy, that I didn' t stop development, because these last time were incredibly harsh. But I'm back. (Fixed the Discord server link.) We need Scenario & event creators! Age of Civilizations is a game that focuses on grand strategy, politics and other government driven elements. Łukasz Jakowski however, included something in the game that is rare in other grand strategy games. Customization. Customizing civilizations, leaders, maps, Whole scenarios, events in these scenarios, etc, etc... This, i think is a very good thing. The only bad thing about this, is that the game focuses more on the custom creative aspect than the realistic grand strategy one. This mod is going to be an overhaul for both these things. Unfortunately, a mod with the same goals named Addon+ is being created right now. My mod is still in a Debug alpha phase, and i can't release it in a state like this. This mod will include the following list of things: Translated Loading Screens Scenarios: The Great War (World War I) With historical events, leaders and custom civilizations, starting in 1st of January, 1914. (I've started doing it, The events are halfway done!) Overhauling the World War II Scenario in the following ways: Adding historical events with descisions. Setting an other start time for the Scenario for better readiness. Giving More corresponding bonuses to leaders given by their personality. Scenario "Die Folge" (The aftermath) happening right after the first world war, (Yes, believe it or not, lots of stuff happened after the first world war) containing a variety of events. Scenario "A Modern Mona Lisa" Containing the events of mostly Hitler taking control over germany (1920-1930). If you want to play as a country, that is falling apart at the moment, this is for you. A Cold War Scenario is also being made, but i'm not promising anything for this one. Backgrounds: Including a large variety of backgrounds, from a realistic one with every little mountain on earth, to a low resolution one for computers that can't handle the mod that good. Government, ideologies: From the leftist Communism the the Extreme right Fascism there are an estimate of ~15 ideologies being made right now including governments that are only avalible on 1 country in real life, or none anymore such as Patriotism (Hungary) Democratic Republic, Despotic Monarchy, so on and so forth. Planning on creating an election system for democratic countries just like in Hearts of Iron IV. Languages: Yes, every Scenario, Custom Leader, Loading screen and such will be translated into other*1 languages. Custom Maps: Custom Maps will be added to the mod, with custom scenarios, so people can create something new on a new map. Current map plans include Hungary, Austria, Germany, Washington, Budapest and The map of Graz. Leaders: Of course, if we make scenarios, we need to make sure, that we have good leaders for each scenario. From a Revolutionary Gavrillo Princip to an alternative timeline Franz Ferdinand, there will be as much leaders as possible. Thank you for reading! Current Status: Started with V0.0.4.8 on 22nd of january 2020 Systems: -A HOI4 style focus tree, but in this mod, it's called "Descision Tree", to avoid being sued by Paradox. (I can't show you the whole thing just yet.) -There will be lots of new stuff in the game, as we just decompiled it.     Dont want to sound dickish and all but this mod feels very unfinished, mod of this scale should have way more scenarios, New government types, there are zero atm, The borders in many scenarios are wrong. + there are some provinces that trough you cannot go from certain positions. Civilizations that has weird names or some most obvious formations not added: Such as holy roman empire, German empire, Greater german reich for germany. However i understanding you are working hard on this and i hope updates makes the mod worthy. Atleast one + i can say is that the map itself looks great! 6/10 current score

    i would personally advice doing the same what addon+ did with the leaders, just remove them, they dont work at all with aoc2 as they live forever, dont change with ideology... and other stuff.

    Right so,the only issues I had with the mod were: a) the background: it's really bright and it pokes my eyes, it'd be nice if there was an option for a less brighter and less pastel-like one,or just an option for the original background b) the font: the font is in some cases (such as long names of countries) hard to understand c) the UI: the only bad thing about the UI is that the options for moving your soldiers and such are too big and get in the way of the part that shows the formable civ (the one on the left) d) the formables: these current new formables are very basic,and most of them besides the Ottoman system and the British Empire can be seen in other mods. It would be amazing if you added the systems the community has proposed for this mod (Japanese,French, Brandenburgian,and there can be many more added for e.g. Spain,Portugal,Russia,Poland, Lithuania,Egypt,countries that used to be Spanish colonies in South America, primarily Argentina and Peru, and India). I won't comment on the music since I play without it,and I won't comment on the borders either since I haven't looked at them in detail,but people don't seem to like them. The mod has great potential and I hope it gets some fixes and more content in the future.

Russia lose control of caucasia. Libya divided to 2 countries. Kurdistan formed. Georgia collapsed. California formed. South Korea annexed North Korea. China is no more communist and collapsed. America invaded Cuba. Germany invaded Poland and invaded Kalingrad. Singapure Kingdom formed. Spania collapsed. İtaly divided to 4 countries. And so more.     So What Is 11:59? 11:59 is a total overhaul mod that focuses on historical accuracy as well as gameplay. Basically everything has been changed or altered, save for the core game mechanics or unmoddable pieces of the game. The feature list includes a brand new Decisions mechanic, (this will popup if your country has decisions scripted for it), a DEFCON mechanic (which is still work-in-progress), map changes, such as the 38th parallel in Korea (pictured below), West Berlin; canals, such as the Kiel Canal, the Panama Canal, and the Suez Canal. A brand new interface has been implemented. The soundtrack has been completely redone, and the list of tracks expanded to 52. There are now ~100 events, some of which are events that influence the AI's decisions (these events only popup for the AI, never the player) to ensure that it stays somewhat historical within the supported scenario: The Bear And The Eagle. Even more features such as custom province pictures for certain cities, the United Nations, and states and regions are also mentioned below. Furthermore, the soundtrack has been completely redone, with 53 new songs. The interface has also been completely redone, so has the states (regions in the base game). Nothing has been spared.     Vestfold is a chiefdom in southern Norway. Approximate years of existence: 650 - 872. It became famous as a state that united Norway during a series of campaigns of conquest led by Harald the Fair-haired. Later it was preserved as a territorial unit of Norway. In Norrvägen Vestfold will be the most interesting country in the scenario with events, the beginning of which dates back to the second half of the 9th century. Map shows the Westfold border in 850.

    Roma Invicta is a new mod based on the ancients scenarios made by @GheovgosGJ. I aim to be as accurate possible, investigating in the sources and I try to giving you a good and valid scenarios. I do this for the sake of History, it is for me a way to celebrate it. In Mare Nostrum Scenario, Carthago Delenda Est, De Bellum Iugurthinum, 100BC I implemented Senate for Roman Republic. There are 2 factions, Optimates (a kind of right-wing) and Populares (a kind of left-wing). Each give you benefits: Optimates Improve your money and Economy but make you lose Happiness. Populares instead improve your happines and movements points, but make you lose money and economy. So, you'll try to be balanced. WARNINGS! If you support too many times each side, a civil war will broke out! Instead, if you try to change government types to Empire, there will be opponents and you must fight civil war (it needs some bugfixes but works). So, how became an Empire? You must follow these points: have more than 300 provinces (it changes depending on the scenario! More provinces has Roman Republic, more you need to become an Empire); have more than 90+ happiness in your civ; have more than 50'000 money and have more than 1000 soldiers in Rome. If you respect these points (not necessarily in order) you'll become Princeps! At moment, I'M NOT WORKING AT PROJECT. I'm BUSY and I can't do much. I wanted to add more provinces in formable Roman Republic to make more challenging (available for Roman Kingdom) Carthaginian Empire, Celtiberian Empire, Spartan Empire, Athenian Empire, Theban Empire, Empire of the Argives never existed. Misia , Egypt and Lydia were under Persian Control, but i wanted to make them as vassal, so Persian Empire don't be too strong. We don't know exactly when Trojan War was fought: someone says in 1250 BCE, others in 1180BCE. I choose 1250BCE due to there were great Kingdoms like Hittities and Assyrians. However, there wil be historical mistakes in Central Asia and India, I have tried to be as precise as possible. Etruscan and Phoenicians WERE NOT a single state, they were similar to Greek poleis. I wanted to make them as single state due to their history is different from Greeks. Third Punic War was fought in 149 BC, but I had to move in 150 BC. South India was made up of a lot of Civilizations during Maurya Empire. Out of necessity I reduced them. Italy in second Triumvirate (Octavian, Mark Antony and Lepidus) was shared indiscriminately by them, but, to balance it, I added some provinces of Italy to Octavian (otherwise it would have been too weak). Poleis Scenario - Description This Scenario is located in 450 BC, in full splendor of Greek Culture. There are the most important greek colonies, as Akragas, Tarentum, Emporion. I added too some italic tribes like Sanniti or Siculi. Civilization suggested: whatever There are no events, its just scenario. 499 BC - Description This is full World for Persian War scenario: there are the no events, but diplomacy is the same. Civilization suggested: Carthage, Arverni, Helvetii, Roman Republic, Macedony, Neri's tribe, Sparta, Athens, Argos, Thebe They have formable civs! Peloponnesian War - Description After victory on Persian Empire, Athens became strong: Pericles led Athen to great glory. He formed Delios-Attic league to control Egean Sea. Sparta formed own leage and tried to oppose diplomatically Athens, but it was a climax of disputes, until 431BC, when war broke out. Thucydides said: "Of course this was the greatest upheaval that ever occurred among the Greeks and for a part of the barbarians and, so to speak, also for most men" Civilization suggested: Sparta (it has events!) Rise of Alexander - Description Alexander became King of Macedony early and everyone didn't trust him for his inexperience. He showed them they wrong. Civilization suggested: Macedony (it has events!) What if.. Alexander wasn't dead early? - Description This is an alternative scenario about Alexander: the events are based on my fantasy. There is Olympic Games. Civilization suggested: Macedonian Empire (it has events!) Trojan War - Description The Trojan War is told in Iliad, an ancient and important poem made by Homer.     Hey one suggestion: Can you make "locked" provinces? For example at the sahara dessert and central africa, the amazon, make those a really big province and add a terrain with the maximum movement costs and all those debuffs. This way its less painful to fight the allies at africa.

    UPDATE: Ghana, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Niger are done! 5024 provinces done in total! I will update next in about 1 hour. Map with Romanian counties Map with HOI4 Romanian provinces As you can see, the counties are too big for a *European province (mostly European ones are very small in size), so I can't do them, but don't worry, one or two hoi4 provinces combine to make a county (consider that as a 'sub-division' of a county).

    UPDATE: Libya, Northwest Sudan and Tunisia are done! 4713 provinces done in total! I added some provinces in Cyrenaica (please look at eu4 map, that is the part which is not wasteland) and I sharpened Egyptian-Libyan-Sudanese borders. I will update next in a few hours. I hope to finish North Africa within today. I have exams til Friday, so I will make 500-600 provinces per day instead of 900-1000 per day.

    The Region of Odisha and It's Princely States: The region of Odisha, or at the times of the start date of this scenario, Orissa, was composed of a recollection of different princely states which operated under a sort of "semi-independent rule" under the suzeranity of the British East India Company, and subsequent British Raj. The Region itself has a unique identity (but to be fair, most regions of the indian subcontinent have a very unique culture, if they are compared with each other), but that culture is slowly deteriorating after the different external rules the area has passed through (Bengal, Mughal and Maratha), summed up with the British policy of "divide and rule". This is a small update, but technically important, since the Orissa Tributary States didn't join the Indian Rebellion of 1857, so most of them continued their rule until 1946. *The flags seen in the cores, are the 'Generic/Standard' flags, the "Monarchy" flags of the releasable nations should be seen below* Patna - Talcher - Pal Lahara - Baudh - Sonepur - Keonjhar - Kharsawan - Seraikella *Changes: Added 4 Starting Nations: Kalahandi, Bamra, Dhenkanal and Mayurbhanj Added 8 New Releasable Nations: Patna, Boudh, Sonepur, Pal Lahara, Keonjhar, Kharsawan and Seraikella. All added nations have a british "Red Ensign" flag (either for monarchist or conservatism governments. Some have two distinct Red Ensigns, using either the state or prince's emblems). Example: Seraikella's Red Ensign (Monarchism) Seraikella's Red Ensign (conservatism) Eventually, I should prepare "Orissa" itself as a formable nation, but i'm not sure if I should just transfer the flags from "Victoria 2" for it. Well, this update took a long time, since I'm really occupied with University work, and all things related. Princely States are other one of those really hard topics, especially considering their borders, the game's map borders, etc. I also wanted to say that I'm currently using this map to guide mysfelf through the process of it. (the map is in Spanish, but It shouldn't be too difficult to understand for someone who doesn't speak the language). I never really mentioned my sources, but other than wikipedia, for this one they would be worldstatesmen.org, indianrajputs.com, rbvex.it (for quality renditions of some of the flags), among others I can't really remember right now. In regards of a release date, as I previously stated, a Beta should be ready before the end of 2020, and the final product either before the end of 2020 or at maximum mid February. I should also thank @Commieslav , for answering one of the previous replies for me.     Alright it's time to give it a small review First of all i liked the music (but not always), and also made me feal satisfaction with one of the tracks when we finnaly got to play the game - 9/10 (Music) Next of all about the scenarios: They are fine but the border problems. Also why isn't there any scenario between 1490 and 1790? - 6/10 (Scenarios) The formable system... you said that there will be more and that was just England.... - 1/10 (Formable System) And in therms of editor there are no civs outside for the formables... While i understand that not each mod MUST include something about the editor it's still somewhat lame - 0/10 (Editor) Avareage score: 4/10
