  1. Well, I'm sorry but thats impossible. You cannot make copies of previous scenarios unless you do it manually.

    I know how to create events. You go to the "events" option in the scenario editor. You than can chose to create an event, you can then customize the event to your hearts desires. Once your done customizing, you can then save the event and the scenario. Then once you play the game the event will occur on a date of your choosing. I hoped this helped!

  8. I created a scenario on a grand scale! It's called "Everyone in the world". As the name suggests, the scenario adds every single civilization in the game in one map and puts them in 5000 B.C. In this scenario, everyone starts as a one province tribal nation and must build an empire to stand the test of time, all while fighting other civs for dominance. I've decided to make this mod in addon+, because it adds more civilizations and it fixes a bug that is in the base game where the game freezes if you go to a certain point in the future. Personally, I recommend you spectate this scenario as it can be really entertaining seeing certain nations rise and fall. However, I'm not stopping you from playing the scenario yourself. Heres a few things you should know before downloading: 1 - Certain nations are excluded from this scenario like the USA, Canada, and Brazil because I thought it would be interesting to include the states as tribes instead. I didn't do this with every nation though, so you can still play as country's like France, Australia, and South Africa. 2 - Addon+ includes the Canadian provinces as playable civs, but for some reason they don't have names in the base mod. Because of this, I've taken it upon myself to fix these names. The name patch will come with the mod. I've also decided to fix some of the Brazilian state names because of a bug that occurs with some states, like Paraná for example. You see Addon+ uses a unique font that I think replaces the old one, however this font doesn't have characters for words like "á" so if you play the game and look at a nation like Paraná that has an "á" in it's name the game can't render it because it doesn't appear as a character in the font so instead of "Paraná" it will say "Paran". I decided to fix this bug by replacing the "á" with an "a" so that way it can look more proper in game. 3 - There is a bug that can happen in this scenario with AI games, I call this bug the "Anarchist rebels" bug. Basically, sometimes if a rebellion happens instead of the rebels forming into a new country instead the rebels will just disappear and the land they occupied will become neutral land. Something even stranger about this bug is if you look at the land that the rebels use to occupy then you'll see a star on a province, as if its a capital of a nation even though theres no country in that land. Theres no way I know of fixing this bug so you'll just have to deal with it during AI only games. 4 - This mod doesn't download to your game files automatically. You have to mainly put the mod files in the game files. They're will be some tutorial note pads in the mod files that will tell you where to put them. 5 - World Leaders not included, sorry. So that was everything you had to know. I hope you enjoy this mod! Also, as for the 1960s cold war scenario, sorry that progress has been so stagnant. I've been taking a bit of a break from AoC2 as I've started to get a little bored of the game. I've also been working on other personal projects other than AoC2. I still wanna finish the mod and I promise to release it sometime this year.
  9. Yes they can. If a vassal has bad relations with their master then they'll often try to declare independence which leads to war. If by "colonies" you mean a country's land then thats only possible with events.

    I think your talking about forming unions with other civilizations. Yes, there is a way to do it without using another player, although unions are quite rare. The only time I united with another country was one time when I played as the Soviets and united with Canada.
  12. The mod is not finished yet. I'm still reworking it, which will take some time. It should take even longer since I recently got a new computer. Expect the mod to come out sometime next year. Also, I'm working on a version of the mod for Vanilla AoC2.
  13. Yes, although not the type you're expecting. The events included in this mod will be revolving around the independence of certain colonial nations. For example, lets say your playing as Britain. Then you would get an event where you can decide weather to make Zambia independent or not. Why would you want to give up your land? Well, if you say no then the happiness in that country will decrease and make it more likely for rebellion to break out. Its a little risk reward event I put in to spice up the game play.
  14. Have you tried booting up the game with all other windows closed? That was a problem for me.
  15. I've decided to continue making the 1960s scenario mod using the already existing addon+ mod. Why? Well funny story, on Saturday I downloaded the mod out of curiosity, however I did not expect it to fully wipe all my game progress. This includes the 1960 scenario data. So, I had to remake the entire thing, which took awhile, but I did it. Thankfully, all the custom leaders survived, but things like the custom ideologies I added are gone. Luckly, I have them saved in the scenario mod folder, but I'll have to find a way to reintegrate them into the game. Heres some screenshots of what the scenario looks like now
  16. In 1960, South Vietnam was a constitutional republic. Democracy is the closest equivalent to that, although I could change it to Republic.
  17. hmm. Honestly, the map doesn't look good. The fact that its stretched out makes it look ugly, and, really dude, you couldn't find a map that had no text.
  18. Didn't know that addon+ added religion in the game. How did they manage to incorporate it into the game mechanics?
  19. Wait! Make sure to also delete the leaders' tag name. You can find the list of leader tags at the bottom of the leaders file. The file at the bottom is simply called "Age_of_Civilization_II". Open that file in notepad, locate the tag name of the leader your trying to delete, and delete the name. Make sure you still have the leader file so yo can remember the tag name.
