    PROJECT: ALPHA MOD V0.1.5 UPDATE WILL BE DOWNLOADABLE ABOUT 1 WEEK LATER!
    - We will fix the save bug on Modern World, Modern World / Europe and 1989 scenarios.
    - We'll fix some connection bugs.
    - We'll add 2 or 3 new scenarios.
    - We'll add new background!
    - We'll fix some "capital city" problems in scenarios.
    - We'll add x7 scale (Recommended for high-system users)
    Don't forget guys, this mod going to best with updates, for now, that isn't perfect, I know, but with updates...... 😄

    I am using 400€ laptop (bought this  last year), and i do not have any problems with turns. It was bit slow first, but after 50 turns it was same level as usual in AoC2.
    And what i noticed, Project Alpha Mod was able to run game way longer than AoC2 usually does. Most of my (AI Only) runs crash before 15k. This ran for over 23k turns 😘
    I launched it about 1.5h after it release, and it crashed there about 15minutes ago. (Finland had Sweden, Norway and Denmak annexed, Estonia had Latvia and Lithuania annexed, and Iceland owned Svalbard Islands. All before launching game, edited them. Modern day scenario, no other adjustments were made. **(Grey = Finland, Light Blue = Estonia, Red = China, Darker Blue =U.S.A)**
    Overall, given that it is V0.1, i would rate this 4.8/5 because always room for improvement 😉

    EVERYONE, PLS DON'T FORGET, THIS MOD IS WORK IN PROGRESS. WE MADE A REALLLY HUGE MAP IN REALLY SHORT TIME. SO WE MAY HAVE MADE MISTAKES. BUT WE CAN FIX ALL OF THE BUGS. THIS MOD WILL BE CONSTANTLY IMPROVED. SO THIS MEAN, WE'LL MAKE UPDATES EVERY WEEK. WITH EACH UPDATE, NEW FEATURES WILL BE ADDED AND BUGS WILL BE CORRECTED.

    You're right. We should make more realistic. But in first version, that won't be too realistic. 'Cause we don't have much time. But with updates, that will be maximum realistic :)

    Are you tired of listening the same Kevin Macleod music over and over again?
    Well, I can help you if you follow all the steps carefully.
    You need:  Your music, (preferably in mp3 format)
                        Notepad++         You can download it here  https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.6.2.html
    Im going to use my song called "example"

     
    1.Go to this webpage https://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-ogg Its a ogg converter. Then drag your mp3 files in the green box. When you finish, then click in "start conversion". In my case, it shows in spanish (because im spanish) 

     
    The converter transform your mp3 files into ogg files. When it finish download it all.

     
    2.When you have your new files, the drag all the songs into this location   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Civilizations II\music.

    After that, click in Age_of_Civilizations file with the right button and click in "Edit with Notepad++"

    In the editor you have to write the song's names with this formula  NAMEOFTHESONG.ogg;
    Example:

    Then click in Save (blue icon in the up left)  or Ctrl+S
     
    And there you go! Now your songs can be played by the game

    I hope I helped you!
    By the way, here is the AoC music file if somebody made a mistake when he was writing in it and the music doesnt play

    This would be great for event triggered civil wars.
    Where the player gets to decide which side the player wants to play as.
    Take the Spanish civil war
    We can easily have it to trigger on a specific date, but thats it.
    (This is where a player is not involved)
    The fascist side annexes land from the communist side. Both declare on each other. They fight for a few turns. They either white peace or either side doesn't have enough victory points to fully annex the other side.
    This irritates me.
    When a player is playing as Spain, after a few turns the Spanish civil war event triggers with the options "Play as Republican Spain" or "Play as Nationalists Spain"
    If they pick "Play as RS" the game continues as normal. However, if the player picks "Play as NS" the player will then be playing as NS.
    And in all cases, whichever side wins will control all of Spain and not just part of it.
    This is what should happen in any civil war. . .

    Hello there, I think there should be a console command "removeplayer" opposing the addplayer command. This would be very handy in situations where you want to change the side completely .
    For example playing the WWII scenario as Germany first, building a strong Axis - then addplayer Soviet Russia, removeplayer Germany and viola you are now playing as Soviets trying to defeat the beast you have built before.
    It can make the game more enjoyable in prolonged games.

    Game now has a command addplayer,  i would suggest command deleteplayer too. 
    Just like addplayer choose province and do command.  I do not know if it is even possible to deleteplayers that have losed (0 provinces left). 
    I've taken 118 players to game now.  It is so much that i must use automatic clicker to pass all turns 😄.

    okay so first.
    -select Finland
    -put difficulty to Legendary
    -then Military Upkeep 30/30 , basically -10.5%
    -then change goverment to Facism
    -then look at the map and prepare your troops to border
    -Now say "Suomi Perkele!!!"
    -then you get power of finnish memes , and power to conquer USSR
    -now you should easily invade USSR without problems
    -like this what you see in pictures.

    This could be a great modifications to the existing cheat code commands, as maybe the sandbox mode could be changed in a way where everything is actually a cheat. What I mean by that is there could be a unlimited amount of money, not just 9 Million Gold, unlimited movement/diplomacy points and not just 99.9, population, army, etc (you get the idea), what’s more, in the country that we play as, all our provinces could have like every possible structure and building already constructed for and stuff.
    Furthermore, I think that if sandbox mode is disabled or somewhat not modified, the cheat code commands (e.g typing army would add 300 soldiers, movement would add 0.X (forgot the actual value) points, etc) could be changed to where as we type for example, army 99999, would thus add 99999 soldiers to the selected province, just like how movement 99999 would add 99999 points, etc, universal to other similar commands like army, population, diplomacy, etc.
     
    please take this add on into consideration, and it would make this game a lot more fun!

Mainly I mean the construction of roads, various bypasses, highways, of course roads, bypasses and motorways would give some bonuses, among others: the usual way - 2% faster movement of the army, on a given area where the road is built. Bypass - 5%. Highway - 10%.

    Airport - As you know, often can improve the industry and speed up the economy, so my idea would be to add an airport, this airport would not affect anything related to the army. It would be an airport that boast our economy, let's say that thanks to the airport, the city receives + 0.25% of the main income.

    Military airport / Military base - this time it is only and disable military deprivation. Base / Military airport would give some bonuses:

    Military airport - The main idea of a military airport is that, of course, our army will move faster. It would look like this, a player using this airport needs him in the city he wants to travel with and in which he wants to travel. Sometimes transporting our army takes a long time, sometimes too long. So such an airport would offer a much faster trip, let's say by example. Gdańsk --------> Krakow is about 7 turns. Let's say that such an airport would offer a reduction of up to 2 turns. The price of such an airport would depend on the place of construction, e.g. in Warsaw, for example, it would be 250,000.     Military base - Of course, our armies would be there. It would have cost less than normal to recruit more people to the army on these renails of the military base, and the construction of such a military base would have reduced the army's retention. Let's say we can build a max. 5 military bases throughout the country. After crossing the level of 100 provinces, there were 8 military bases and 150+ bases, 10 bases. 1 Base would give -50% of army maintenance.

    yes, "build all" (spending all remaining gold and/or action points) would be very helpful - it is so time consuming to level up your provinces right now, especially on bigger maps with more provinces

    same for watch towers, ports, castles

    also for economy and development boosts - if you want to push certain provinces this can be very time consuming - it would be great instead of having to boost every few turns be able to have some "continous" boosting or something like that, where it automaticlly boosts economy / development every turn of selected/all provinces

    So it there would be options like: protect beaches, protect borders to "Nation", Disband all , Attack all provinces of "Nation" , Attack selected provinces of "Nation" like all your soldier would rush into every selected provinces like In HOI 4. The game would be way faster also like an emergency button like "protect the nation" it would use away all your money to produce soldiers and gain back land.

    Is there any way to remove player. As if I am controling like three civs using addplayer command and then I would like to play only as one of them?
