It gets pretty repetitive when every alliance name revolves around "Grand Sphere International" and what not. The ability to modify alliance name isn't one of the most needed additions to the game but it'd be nice to do just that :^)
I thought that the 5 Dutch provinces in the base game weren't enough for me so I decided that I would make my own detailed map of the Netherlands.
The map in that I made consists of 432 provinces consisting of the municipalities in the Netherlands (excluded Caribbean islands) and some sea provinces.
Also included is the province scenario that consists of the map divided into the twelve Dutch provinces that exist today.
If you have ideas for future detailed maps, comment down below.
One of the two must work.
Are you tired of playing the Modern World scenario which has no relations, alliances or more government types?
Well, then I present you:
PRESENT DAY MOD
When I played the Modern World scenario for the first time, I noticed lots of inaccuracies, such as Guernsey being fully independent, Somalia having a fully funtional government and Cuba being democratic. So, I've made this mod to make a realistic modern world.
What the mod currently includes:
Present Day scenario
Renamed buildings, actions etc.
Mod size: 161 MB
Less leaders, but more will be coming soon
More excitement than Modern Day +

I have made a 1867 scenario with 30+ events and 50+ leaders, it is not finished but I wanted to put it here so people could give feedback (I hope this can eventually get into the game)
Here is how to download it
>Open the zip
>take all the png files in "customleaders" and move them to "leaderIMG" (This PC/C:/ProgramFiles (x86)/Steam/steamapps/Age Of Civilizations II/leaderIMG
>take all the files inside of "customleaderinfo" and move them to "leaders" (which is right next to leaderIMG)
>take the files out of "custom civs" (in the zip) and put them in "civilizations_creator" (also next to leaderIMG)
>take the scenario file with the long tag inside of "1867 scenario" and put it in your scenario folder (This PC/C:/ProgramFiles (x86)/Steam/steamapps/Age Of Civilizations II/map/Earth/scenarios
>enjoy and please give feedback 😄
