JustAnUser got a reaction from ProstoTak228 in A form of capitulation
I don't think it should immediately result in the annexation of the country. I think you should just get the ability to make the peace treaty in any way you want and they shouldn't be able to say "No." to you.

But there are difficulty differences there too. For example, playing as the Aztecs is easier than playing as a northwestern American country.

JustAnUser got a reaction from gibby in World War Two Nerds?
First of all, i'm only kind of a nerd as i like to learn about a lot of topics. But i believe that i'm knowledgable about WWII, at least more than the average. Here's my two cents:
Not really. Hitler didn't have a much more impact on the war than, let's say, generals. The war still couldn't have been won without Hitler.
Also, i don't think delaying the attack on the USSR will do you any good. Germany was running low on critical things and USSR was only getting stronger. While USSR was somewhat low on production of things related to military compared to Germany, their potential was greater. And Lebensraum.
Not really against it. Massproducing the tanks they already had would've been better for them. And not wasting their money on supertanks like Maus that can be destroyed by air attacks easily.
Didn't they schedule a meeting 3 days later after the nuke? I don't think they were in a hurry after the first nuke.
But they weren't able to use them. Good tactics, poor use. Germany was better in that regard, i think.
True, but i think the Germans were the first to do the "Tanks first, infantry later." strategy.
I will not, don't worry.

What about taxing them so much that most of them revolt against you? I would love to see how the world would be after they gain their independence.

JustAnUser reacted to LildawgGaming in Germanic Tribes Stronk
I started a game with the 5 AD Start Date. I decided to play risky and choose a Germanic Tribe Close to Rome. I began by dominating my weaker neighbors. Soon, a small coalition formed against Rome. I was the only one who managed to take land as everyone else died. Soon I had an army and threatened all of the other Germanic Tribes to become my vassals, eventually annexing them.
However this came at a cost. I had to assimilate ALOT of territory. Thankfully, Rome was being nice to me.
After assimilating a whole lot of territory for about 2 hundred turns, I discovered America and defeated some Native American Monarchies.
Parts of Central and South America was gobbled up pretty easily. Assimilation also wasn't too hard.
Then I turned my focus to the giant red monster of Rome in Europe. I built up my armies and...
...They surrendered without a fight...
No, I am not joking. I was so scary strong, that I vassalized Rome and eventually ate them in their entirety. They also could have EASILY matched me. But they took the coward's route and submitted to me.
I plan on continuing this playthrough. I have A THOUSAND TRUCK LOADS of land to assimilate now.
Difficulty: Normal
Fog of War: Discovery
AI Aggressiveness: 125%
Note: I made my empire bright green to help show it better on the second map.

JustAnUser got a reaction from PETER in My ideas for the game
Then you should also introduce a "home provinces" mechanism. I don't want to just capitulate as the Netherlands just because they conquered Dutch East Indies.

JustAnUser reacted to Lucas L in 1941 scenario (world) (january)
Hi! I always see scenarios of WW2, but most of them are of the same ages: 1942, 1943 and 1945.
So today I show you a scenario that I did of WW2 of all the world, but is from 1941, when the nazis haven't declaired war on Soviet Union and USA, so there are more options than in another scenarios and the map can be more interesting and balanced.
I am from android and I can't share a download link until the Workshop comes, but I can show you some pictures of the scenario.
Greenland and Svalvard are disocuppied like in reality (in the game they are neutral) because I thought it would be better for the game leave them neutral.
This scenario contains some new leaders, like Philippe Petain in Vichy France and Charles de Gaulle in "Free France" a new state that I created for the map that symbolise the French resistance, like in the reality.
About technology: all the civilizations have the standard technology level, 0,45.
And the last thing, you must know that this scenario contains some special things due the age (january 1941) like the Greek-Italian war that still continues.
Update 26/03/2019:
-Now, Suriname is not ''Netherlands'', it's a state like the Dutch East Indies that are with the allies. (Curaçao is now neutral, because in the war didn't have many importance, so now every country can take the island)
-Relations of most of the important countries updated:
-All the countries of the Axis aren't in war with any other state, except Nazi Germany, Italy and Vichy France.
-Vichy France still being a member of the Axis, but is only in war with the"revolutionary movement" of Free France.
-Germany and Italy are in war with the same states: All the members of the British Empire, the Belgian Congo, Dutch East Indies and Suriname.
For make it clear, in the scenario:
-Members of the axis: Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Vichy France.
-Members of the allies: all the British Empire (United Kingdom, Dominion of Canada, Union of South Africa, the British Raj, Australia and New Zealand), the revolutionary movement of ''Free France'', the Belgian Congo, Suriname, the Ducth East Indies, and finally, Greece.
-Members of the Kommintern: Soviet Union, Mongolia and Tannu Tuva (I didn't include the communist China zones because they were focused on beat the japans, and they weren't so organised like the other communist states, they were basically rebels until the end of the war)
-Members of the Greater East Asia Co-Prospherity Sphere: The Empire of Japan and his vassal's states, Manchukuo and Menjiang.
And that should be everything.
Finally, the NEW pictures: (if you see an error, please tell me in comments and I will try to fix it) (I took pictures of important territories in the scenario and the diplomacy maps of Nazi Germany and UK) (Also, I have commited an error with Suriname, in the map it doesn't appear like a member of the Allies, but in reality Suriname it's a member of Allies)

Update 30/03/2019:
Well, another update of this scenario. In this update, I have fixed the frontiers between the Slovakian State and Hungary, the Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, and the Soviet Union and Finland
I wanna mentionate and give thanks to the user TomasC8426, because he helped me with the borders of Germany and the Soviet Union and Hungary and the Slovakian State (you can see it in comments if you want)

JustAnUser reacted to Lucas L in 1941 scenario (world) (january)
Yeah, but the French Resistance and United Kingdom attacked Vichy France's colonies, and, in practice, Vichy France was a vassal of the Nazy Germany, so I decided that they should be part of the Axis and a vassal of Germany.

JustAnUser reacted to coubal in Peace Treaty Bug (maybe?)
Hello,
I had the same bug, and although I had some trouble reproducing it (because of some color blindness), I definitely took possesion of England and Castille this way in the 1440 scenario.
Long story short :
- played with France; - in a alliance with Bourgogne and Nevers; - Castille (already spreading across actual Spain territory) began the war with me (so I was the main defender); - had some trouble but managed to invade their territory (Bourgogne also invaded some territories) - during the peace treaty, I was supposed to choose my territories, but instead requested for liberation Cataluña; - then I selected Catalunian territories, the stars count didn't change, then I could select some more territories (and repeat if needed). Once again, I made some random clicks that led me to this, I may try and reproduce the bug again.

JustAnUser reacted to Checkmate in Event corruption
Sometimes I will come back to my scenario and certain annexation event outcomes will be "corrupted" in the sense that the original owner and new owner are now random
(Example:
original event:
Germany takes from France
new event:
British Malaya takes from Italy)

JustAnUser reacted to Robert_G in Cores in Editor don't work
While making scenario for WWI, I encountered a bug that does not allow to assign cores if the neighboring province belongs to the same country. Here's an example:
You can see what ""Targu Mures"" has 65% of Romanians, as Editor shows it. But when we start new game we see this:
And there's no any 65% Romanian population as it is in editor.

JustAnUser reacted to Nomad14 in Two states in Europe are incorrectly tagged
Two states are in Europe near Crimea are tagged with being in Asia. This gets annoying when trying to make a custom scenario.
also a random heads up, in the scenario 5 and maybe in a few other scenarios, Dacia and the Sarmatians are blocked by a wasteland province next to balti and Okny.
