Same for army conscription and buildings. It’s just so annoying to build and upgrade (3-5 times each building) building in every province, something like brush tool will be nice. When you have more than 10 provinces the building/investing/army making process becomes unbearable and prevents you from getting enjoyed

That's basically the main reason why we should have brush paint tool to build and upgrade buildings, conscript armies and investments... Can't even imaging doing this manual way

It’s too early to release multiplayer. In the solo game you can easily smash the turn button to save some cash/invest in economy etc. but in multiplayer it’ll be like 100 times more time consuming. Doesn’t worth it, anyway you would be disappointed with it

Press X to doubt. If you play something like Switzerland, at early game you should focus on getting more economy since you can't go to war with any of your neighbors, they're simply stronger than you.

ShouldIStayOrShouldIGo reacted to ddplf in [Copied from Steam] UI Tweaks for Economic buildup - Please read
Welcome, I'd want this thread to be widespread because it containts a potential milestone in the history of the post-release AoC2 development. Łukasz, please do leave a note so I can know you are reading this.
Economy in this game is fun but probably unattended by most players part of the game. And it is most likely to stay this way due to the fact, that it is also an extremely tiring process, which requires you to move your mouse like a mad man and click like some furious asian in dota.
Let me tell you what you have to do in order to increase Economy, Development, Stability or Happiness in a single province. Here's what I do:
Look at the bottom-left panel of the screen. Click a desired icon. I'll go for Development. Now you see a list of your provinces with their state. Now click on one of them twice. Move the slider all the way to the right side and confirm.  Repeat all above for every province until your treasury is empty or you run out of movement points, click next turn.  Repeat all above, continue until you maxed out all your provinces or you die of old age. This looks terrible when you read it, and it is just as terrible in-game as you would expect.
Now let me tell you how I imagine it should be done:
Again - Look at the bottom-left panel of the screen. Click a desired icon.  List pops up but you can also interact with the map.  You want to quickly fill the province with maximum amount of investment you are allowed to do using the slider, but withous using the slider. You click the Left Shift and on each province a pop up is displayed showing you the cost of that operation. Click Left Shift+LMB and it's done. This way you can swiftly boost multiple provinces in under 5 seconds. Why do I find it important? Because let me tell you - it's fun, it's faster than conquering and having 300 000 Economy doesn't leave you with 1000 Economy in each of your 300 provinces. Instead you have 20 provinces with 15 000 Economy each.
It is too hard to acquire population
Wars between two superpowers or atleast powers of equal strenght requires enlisting large portions of population, leaving all of your border provinces empty.
Let's say that two empires of 500 000 men fought a war. They enlisted a total of 50 000 men each, and now both of them have 450 000 pop. Now these men will probably never be regained, because the growth is so incredibly slow, that the exploited provinces will be forever wastelands.
Here's what I suggest you should do:
There should be a way to invest in Immigration. Immigrants will quickly fill your empty provinces, but not with native population. As a result, the province Stability will decrease, but there is a fix to that already in the game.
Immigration max investment per turn should not be based on the current state of population, but on the province's Economy.

As long as a state is your vassal, I think it is only logical that the vassal complies with all your demands. Vassals must remain vassals. This is quite irritating as well since my vassals keep rejecting my peace offers when I'm at war; to the point where I just stopped calling my vassals to war altogether.

Your right it would add more strategy to the game, but i don't think it should be supplies that are effected, instead I think the attackers should have a 50% buff when attacking the surrounded army.

ShouldIStayOrShouldIGo reacted to Gioseppe in Best way to add depth to the combat system
I think that the best way to improve the combat would be addition of a retreat mechanic.
For example, if you have 2,000 units defending, and are attacked by 1,900 units, then the enemy army will be annihilated, and the defender will be almost annihilated.
In real life, the attacker would probably attack, lose dome amount of units, and realize that they are losing, so they would retreat. So the 2,000 units would lose like 400 units, while the attackers would lose 1000. This would leave the attacked less exposed to all out conquest, while still giving the defender initiative to attack. It would also solve the issue of a country being conquered by micro-armies.

this has probably been said before but we NEED a button that can assimilate all states that can be assimilated. Because having to press the button who knows how many times nearly 30 turns gets annoying, really annoying. It's especially annoying when you annex a large country like Russia or China.

Right now, the armies of every nation is exactly the same except for the numbers. Natives shouldn't have as powerful armies as European nations do. You should get the option to spend your tech points on strengthening army attack and defense points, lets say about 1.5% every point. That way it would be more accurate.

Here are a few suggestions I have (react with these things if you support it)
(like)> Vassals should not be able to peace out with other vassals if both their lords are at war
(sad)> The Player should get more control over their vassals
(confused)>You should be able to ajust population and economy from the start (like with tech level) instead of having to make an event to ajust it
(haha)>There should be an easier way to import flags when making custom civs
(thanks)>When vassals are pushing in a war overseas (for example british raj helping the uk in germany) the area the vassal takes should be occupied by the lord
    :D
