I basically never vassalize countries when I play because, sooner or later, even the smallest of my vassals will declare war on another country and I'll have to invade it to stop the war, or pay it off. This is a real shame, as some of my more ridiculous games include large "alliances" of puppet states led by a great power (me), that are then liberated at will for me to go to war with again if I wish to do so. Is there any way to limit vassals' declarations of war? If not in-game, what adjustments would I have to make to make it impossible for a vassal to declare war, and only allow it to join wars if I ask them to? Any help is greatly appreciated

There is a bug in the game where opinion is stuck at 0. Usually happens not too deep into the game around turn 1300 both times. This never used to happen as I had a game go to 5000+ turns and nothing happened so I believe it may be from a recent patch. I remember seeing something about this bug in the steam forums but saw nothing here so decided to post and see if anyone else was encountering the same bug. Let me know if you guys have seen the same bug and/or if you found any solutions once the zero opinion is in place.

Hi there, After around 4000 turns my country was kicked out of alliance (there was no pop up that it happened - I've just noticed that my former allies have standard country colors in diplomacy screen). Most of the countries around the world have 0 points attitude towards my country. Nevermind if I insult them or try to increase relations. Any guesses how I can fix that?

Everytime I offer some civilization vasalization they just deny it.. What does the offer vasalization need for it to be successful?

Normal diplomacy Integrate vassal - required >50 relations. It slowly (turn per turn) assimilate vassal ( unlike demand annexation that need to assimilate after annexing ), it cost diplomatic point and money depend on vassal size (population). Coalition ( I know about coalition in trade) - Temporary alliance of few nation against large nation that have -50 relations with those nation, disband after war. Great power - Interfere in war ( take side, occupied province automatically transferred to the nation that you take side) Holy Roman Empire - HRE Emperor - Grant / revoke electorate (+/- 20 relations) - Invite nation to HRE ( nation must be weaker than you ) - Non HRE member - Disband HRE ( HRE emperor and elector province is occupied ) Others - Add 'threat' (-20 relations) to nation that being conquered by you. -10 relations to nation that was at war. -20 relations to nation that you have their core. Nation that have HRE province get -20 relations to all HRE members. - HRE Emperor get +1 diplomatic point every turn.

Hi guys, I’m having some issues on IOS. First off, the Diplomacy tab doesn’t work. This is only after I have reinstalled the game(due to the same issue). It happens about 2-3 weeks after I reinstalled. This makes it impossible to declare war, or any other Diplomatic actions. Also, I can not assimilate any of my provinces. It’s a pain in the rear end, and the only way I’ve been able to solve it was to reinstall, but that loses all of my save data(and hours into the game). Please help!

Hi everyone. I loved the first part of the game. Now I have my problem with the second one. 1. How to get new diplomacy points? 2. Why does the relationship with states I am not in contact with deteriorate? For example, I play England, the contact with Iraq worsens. Many thanks for your help.

Let's face it, the diplomacy in the game is broken. Nations all around you break into all out pointless war, forcing me to play the game at AI aggressive 50% so Ming doesn't conquer all of India before 1550. It doesn't necessarily even need to be complex. A simple timer between wars you can declare is good enough. Say, you cannot declare another war for the next 50 turns with ANYONE, not just your original opponent.

Hi, I was playing a Karaman>Rum campaign and managed to form Rum. After a few times of playing whenever I load up my Rum game whenever I click on 'Diplomacy' it won't show any relations. I tried loading other games and every game has this problem. Whenever I try to look at diplomacy through "map modes" the screen turns black and the only thing I see is the flag of my country. I even started a new game and it still did not work. Can I fix this? This is a serious issue that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Everytime when I insult or improve relations with another nation in the next turn the value doesn't change and it remains at 0.

Cannot enter the diplomacy settings on my country and cannot proceed to nest turn. I've tried starting new games but it is still stuck

We should be able to request with our allies to do much more things than preparing a war. As well as trade. For example, insult / improve relation with another country, change ideologies(this one should be added to ultimatum too), scientific research etc. Also, we should be able to help our allies in development, economy, building, and science. About vassals, they should listen to whatever their master says. Master should be able to declare war on the vassal if they reject. We should have some non-historical formable nations too, such as Benelux, European Union, East African Union as well as African Union, Arabian Union etc. But we also need to be able to form historical nations too. Such as you could form UK as England or Scotland, Germany as any German states, Netherland, and many more. I know a lot of this is moddable and customizable, but wouldn't be great if it was in the base game?

1. I don't know if it's already in the game. Ability to change other country's ideology in peace deals 2. Ability to stage ideological civil wars in another country. 3. A chart of ideology support for each country, like hoi4 4. When the most supported ideology isn't the country's ideology, stability will decrease 5. Customizable ideology 6. Ability to support another country in war, not directly intervene 7. Please add navy. It's important.

So today i will explain how to make a secure alliance with (almost) any country, this is a recopilation of all the data i've been sharing in the Reddit and the Discord, so here we go! First you have to have these things: Have a relative close distance Both of them have to be nation friends You need to have 60+ relations with him If these things are on, i'm pretty sure it will work. You can raise opinion only with diplomacy, gib them money work but the bonus are very few. Another thing is that i discovered that some nations have "pre-loaded" friends, for example England and Portugal will always start with a good relations or Mexico and Cuba When to call them to war? First of all i want to make clear, if the war is very easy to win just don't invite them, call them if your enemy has a comparable power, or else they will be just a problem. This happens because sometimes you just want to peace out with 99% because maybe on of his provinces are too far, but you ally WILL ALWAYS peace out when its 100% scoreboard [lukasz plz fix]. This is the reason you see Castille and Morocco fight for 900 years. When to join his wars? If you want to get a PU, i recommend to always join his wars, joining wars gives you more + opinion with them If you consider the war won to them don't
