Age of History II : The Second Great war is an AoH2 mod with the objective of completely revamping the World War 2 Scenario by perfecting it and adding a completely new and exclusive mechanic : Event Trees THE MOD HAS BEEN RELEASED THE LINKS (BOTH ANDROID AND PC) ARE ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS VIDEO: The mod aims to be an immersive experience for the players of AoH2 that are bored of repeating the same stuff every time with different mods. While other mods aim to expand the map, add provinces or make more scenarios, "The Second Great War" (or just TSGW) for short gives a completely new spin to an already in game scenario, making it as interesting as possible, by perfecting the scenario (making it better gameplay wise, as well as adding cores and diplomacy) and most of all, Adding "Event Trees" aka an original mix between events and Hoi4-like Focus Trees. These event trees take you to different paths depending on the nation you choose to play as, with events popping up either as one-time decision with no excess influence or as complete game changers that can change your path and your following events down the line. Together with historical events, such as remilitarizing the Rhineland, opening of airports, building of museums, Historical wars, historical ultimatums and more, we also have completely new and different alternate unhistorical paths you can take your nation through. Want to ditch germany as fascist Italy and pursue an alliance with the Allies? You can! Want to focus on the economy as Germany? You can! Want to enter the Axis as a military government in Turkey? You can! Want to create the Intermarium as an alliance of sovereign states ? You can! Want to re-establish the Monarchy in Brazil after a violent year long civil war? Hell yes you can! This mod adds over 200 different events all over the world, with bigger Event Trees for important nations in the second great war , like Italy, Germany, Japan, the USSR and America , but also adding massive event trees to less popular nations, like Romania, Bulgaria, Brazil and more! examples: So when will the mod be out?   3. Age of Civilizations 2: Ultimate Overhaul It's been a while! Welcome, dear people, who are still interested in the Development of UO! I do not know why the discord invite is invalid, i set it to forever, lmao. So, I'm back. (Again), and we are still working on the mod. But due to the current situation of the Virus in europe, this all can just crumble down. I am happy, that I didn' t stop development, because these last time were incredibly harsh. But I'm back. (Fixed the Discord server link.) We need Scenario & event creators! Age of Civilizations is a game that focuses on grand strategy, politics and other government driven elements. Łukasz Jakowski however, included something in the game that is rare in other grand strategy games. Customization. Customizing civilizations, leaders, maps, Whole scenarios, events in these scenarios, etc, etc... This, i think is a very good thing. The only bad thing about this, is that the game focuses more on the custom creative aspect than the realistic grand strategy one. This mod is going to be an overhaul for both these things. Unfortunately, a mod with the same goals named Addon+ is being created right now. My mod is still in a Debug alpha phase, and i can't release it in a state like this. This mod will include the following list of things: Translated Loading Screens Scenarios: The Great War (World War I) With historical events, leaders and custom civilizations, starting in 1st of January, 1914. (I've started doing it, The events are halfway done!) Overhauling the World War II Scenario in the following ways: Adding historical events with descisions. Setting an other start time for the Scenario for better readiness. Giving More corresponding bonuses to leaders given by their personality. Scenario "Die Folge" (The aftermath) happening right after the first world war, (Yes, believe it or not, lots of stuff happened after the first world war) containing a variety of events. Scenario "A Modern Mona Lisa" Containing the events of mostly Hitler taking control over germany (1920-1930). If you want to play as a country, that is falling apart at the moment, this is for you. A Cold War Scenario is also being made, but i'm not promising anything for this one. Backgrounds: Including a large variety of backgrounds, from a realistic one with every little mountain on earth, to a low resolution one for computers that can't handle the mod that good. Government, ideologies: From the leftist Communism the the Extreme right Fascism there are an estimate of ~15 ideologies being made right now including governments that are only avalible on 1 country in real life, or none anymore such as Patriotism (Hungary) Democratic Republic, Despotic Monarchy, so on and so forth. Planning on creating an election system for democratic countries just like in Hearts of Iron IV. Languages: Yes, every Scenario, Custom Leader, Loading screen and such will be translated into other*1 languages. Custom Maps: Custom Maps will be added to the mod, with custom scenarios, so people can create something new on a new map. Current map plans include Hungary, Austria, Germany, Washington, Budapest and The map of Graz. Leaders: Of course, if we make scenarios, we need to make sure, that we have good leaders for each scenario. From a Revolutionary Gavrillo Princip to an alternative timeline Franz Ferdinand, there will be as much leaders as possible. Thank you for reading! Current Status: Started with V0.0.4.8 on 22nd of january 2020 Systems: -A HOI4 style focus tree, but in this mod, it's called "Descision Tree", to avoid being sued by Paradox. These new system include: -More types of Vassals (Dominion, Colony, Crown Colony, State, Soviet Socialist State, etc, etc...) -Democratic elections all four years, if the country is: Democratic, Republic, City State, Patriotism -Ideological support system (See: hearts of iron 4) as you do your actions -Changing the values of terrains, planning before war nescessary -Adding seasons, each one having it's own effects on attacks, income and happiness -Adding religions -Adding a "secret service" action, where up to 400 people can work on a specific assignment, such as: Assasination Espionage Capture Recapture Special Operations *1: Other: This mod will not be translated to all languages, as that would be pretty hard to make.     So What Is 11:59? 11:59 is a total overhaul mod that focuses on historical accuracy as well as gameplay. Basically everything has been changed or altered, save for the core game mechanics or unmoddable pieces of the game. The feature list includes a brand new Decisions mechanic, (this will popup if your country has decisions scripted for it), a DEFCON mechanic (which is still work-in-progress), map changes, such as the 38th parallel in Korea (pictured below), West Berlin; canals, such as the Kiel Canal, the Panama Canal, and the Suez Canal. A brand new interface has been implemented. The soundtrack has been completely redone, and the list of tracks expanded to 52. There are now ~100 events, some of which are events that influence the AI's decisions (these events only popup for the AI, never the player) to ensure that it stays somewhat historical within the supported scenario: The Bear And The Eagle. Even more features such as custom province pictures for certain cities, the United Nations, and states and regions are also mentioned below. Furthermore, the soundtrack has been completely redone, with 53 new songs. The interface has also been completely redone, so has the states (regions in the base game). Nothing has been spared.   6. It's just a minor idea, but looking at the fact that leaders have custom traits and such (A. K. A. a leader can change a country with it's bonuses) i think it wouldn't be a bad idea to add a "Change ruler/leader" option for event outcomes to create more creative scenarios! -Dave
  7. I'm working on a new mod with events.It would be my first one so it will take some time because I want it to be high quality. The neme of the mod has not been decided yet.But, it will be about the palestine-Isreal conflict. It would have a detailed map with neighboring countries(more than 200 provinces just for Palestine and Isreal) The main scenario will focus on the future of the conflict through a lot of events and focus trees. The mod will include past time with events. I will release a beta and a discord server when the game is some what playable. Thank you!

  9. Short tutorial that should help out with capitulation events. City Capturing First, make sure you have it so that it can begin at the start of your Scenario, and the 5000 date. (Longest possible date) Now, make sure your triggers look like this: <Country> Exists (The receiver of the event.) Provinces occupied (The province you'll want to occupy) if you do everything right, it should look like this: Now, after this, make sure the official capitulation event (if you're doing the multiple city occupation route) has all of the <City> Is ours decisions to work. Ex: Civilization Exists: <Civ> Decision taken: <City> Is ours! (Multiple can work) If it works, it should look like this: (If you just want instant capitulation, just follow the first step.) And that is how to make capitulation events.

It would be extremely useful if there was an option to make an event activate for the player country or all countries, example, lets say im playing India, and i have made an event, instead of putting India as the recieving country, it would state player country, and no matter what country i play as, that event will fire for me, and the all countries event is pretty self explanitory, i hope this is possible to add in the future as it would be extremely useful.

  13. Age of Civilizations 2: Ultimate Overhaul Development Re-Continues! Discord works! Age of Civilizations is a game that focuses on grand strategy, politics and other government driven elements. Łukasz Jakowski however, included something in the game that is rare in other grand strategy games. Customization. Customizing civilizations, leaders, maps, Whole scenarios, events in these scenarios, etc, etc... This, i think is a very good thing. The only bad thing about this, is that the game focuses more on the custom creative aspect than the realistic grand strategy one. This mod is going to be an overhaul for both these things. Unfortunately, a mod with the same goals named Addon+ is being created right now. My mod is still in a Debug alpha phase, and i can't release it in a state like this. This mod will include the following list of things: Translated Loading Screens Scenarios: The Great War (World War I) With historical events, leaders and custom civilizations, starting in 1st of January, 1914. (I've started doing it, The events are halfway done!) Overhauling the World War II Scenario in the following ways: Adding historical events with descisions. Setting an other start time for the Scenario for better readiness. Giving More corresponding bonuses to leaders given by their personality. Scenario "Die Folge" (The aftermath) happening right after the first world war, (Yes, believe it or not, lots of stuff happened after the first world war) containing a variety of events. Scenario "A Modern Mona Lisa" Containing the events of mostly Hitler taking control over germany (1920-1930). If you want to play as a country, that is falling apart at the moment, this is for you. A Cold War Scenario is also being made, but i'm not promising anything for this one. Backgrounds: Including a large variety of backgrounds, from a realistic one with every little mountain on earth, to a low resolution one for computers that can't handle the mod that good. Government, ideologies: From the leftist Communism the the Extreme right Fascism there are an estimate of ~15 ideologies being made right now including governments that are only avalible on 1 country in real life, or none anymore such as Patriotism (Hungary) Democratic Republic, Deposit Monarchy, so on and so forth. Planning on creating an election system for democratic countries just like in Hearts of Iron IV. Also, new flag overlays, and divisions, for the ones, that like to Roleplay out there! 😉 Languages: Yes, every Scenario, Custom Leader, Loading screen and such will be translated into other*1 languages. Custom Maps: Custom Maps will be added to the mod, with custom scenarios, so people can create something new on a new map. Current map plans include Hungary, Austria, Germany, Washington, Budapest and The map of Graz. Leaders: Of course, if we make scenarios, we need to make sure, that we have good leaders for each scenario. From a Revolutionary Gavrillo Princip to an alternative timeline Franz Ferdinand, there will be as much leaders as possible. Systems: -There will be lots of new stuff in the game, as we just decompiled it. These new system include: -More types of Vassals (Dominion, Colony, Crown Colony, State, Soviet Socialist State, etc, etc...) -Democratic elections all four years, if the country is: Democratic, Republic, City State, Patriotism -Ideological support system (See: hearts of iron 4) as you do your actions -Changing the values of terrains, planning before war nescessary -Adding seasons, each one having it's own effects on attacks, income and happiness -Adding religions -Adding a "secret service" action, where up to 400 people can work on a specific assignment, such as: Assasination Espionage Capture Recapture Special Operations Unit types, such as tanks, motorized infantry, and planes will be added. It would be extremely useful if there was an option to make an event activate for the player country or all countries, example, lets say im playing India, and i have made an event, instead of putting India as the recieving country, it would state player country, and no matter what country i play as, that event will fire for me, and the all countries event is pretty self explanitory, i hope this is possible to add in the future as it would be extremely useful.

During modding, I found myself need the operation of adding events to formable civilizations. e.g.: assume A forms a civilization B through formable decision (instead of events) then I would like to trigger a event for civilization B. However, after I added events to civilization B, such civilization would be added to the game at the beginning, with land 0. Then A can not form B since it violates the condition "civilization B does not exist". I've tried to first form B into another civilzation C, but that does not work. What should I do? I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to solve this problem. Thank you in advance for your help!!!
