  4. Someone please help me with this. I am making a map of the Solar System with Age of Modding. For some reason, it will not let me use my line map though! When i forcefully try to get it to use my linemap via file editing, i get "please select correct linemap!" Someone please help this took me way too long to make

  6. The minimum available AI aggressiveness value is 50%. I want to change it but I don't know how. I saw this possibility in some mods, but I could not change it myself. I could not find the file responsible for the aggressiveness value. Łukasz Jakowski is kidding me :d.
  7. Is there a way to stop the game confusing extra tags with eachother? I.E. '_cm' is confused with '_c' causing '_cm' to display the4 same characteristics and crown as '_c' or are there anything else I can input that would still work? I tried using ó as it has a diacritic and it worked, however it didn't display the crown. I've seen some mods with well over 30+ ideologies while still having functional crowns; someone ahs to know how to.

Age of History II : The Second Great war is an AoH2 mod with the objective of completely revamping the World War 2 Scenario by perfecting it and adding a completely new and exclusive mechanic : Event Trees THE MOD HAS BEEN RELEASED THE LINKS (BOTH ANDROID AND PC) ARE ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS VIDEO: The mod aims to be an immersive experience for the players of AoH2 that are bored of repeating the same stuff every time with different mods. While other mods aim to expand the map, add provinces or make more scenarios, "The Second Great War" (or just TSGW) for short gives a completely new spin to an already in game scenario, making it as interesting as possible, by perfecting the scenario (making it better gameplay wise, as well as adding cores and diplomacy) and most of all, Adding "Event Trees" aka an original mix between events and Hoi4-like Focus Trees. These event trees take you to different paths depending on the nation you choose to play as, with events popping up either as one-time decision with no excess influence or as complete game changers that can change your path and your following events down the line. Together with historical events, such as remilitarizing the Rhineland, opening of airports, building of museums, Historical wars, historical ultimatums and more, we also have completely new and different alternate unhistorical paths you can take your nation through. Want to ditch germany as fascist Italy and pursue an alliance with the Allies? You can! Want to focus on the economy as Germany? You can! Want to enter the Axis as a military government in Turkey? You can! Want to create the Intermarium as an alliance of sovereign states ? You can! Want to re-establish the Monarchy in Brazil after a violent year long civil war? Hell yes you can! So if you are wanting to edit ideologies in the game just for fun and not creating an actual mod or if you just want to create a mod hands on instead of using those new editors and you're editing ideologies, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT let other ideologies have the same starting letter/symbol in their extra tags, i.e. you can't have two ideologies with the starting letters/symbols in their extra tag "c" so no "cm" or "cc" or whatever or else they will both override each other, you guys can have fun testing that out to see what happens Istfg I spent HOURS trying to fix this, so just be lucky y'all didn't have to And yes, sadly that means there could be a limit to the maximum amount of ideologies you could add but nobody say anything about spaces or diacritics, so test that out if you wanna add like 50+ ideologies or smth

You need: Your music, (preferably in mp3 format) Notepad++ You can download it here https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.6.2.html Im going to use my song called "example" 1.Go to this webpage https://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-ogg Its a ogg converter. Then drag your mp3 files in the green box. When you finish, then click in "start conversion". In my case, it shows in spanish (because im spanish) The converter transform your mp3 files into ogg files. When it finish download it all. 2.When you have your new files, the drag all the songs into this location C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Civilizations II\music. After that, click in Age_of_Civilizations file with the right button and click in "Edit with Notepad++" In the editor you have to write the song's names with this formula NAMEOFTHESONG.ogg; Example: Then click in Save (blue icon in the up left) or Ctrl+S And there you go! Now your songs can be played by the game I hope I helped you!     i want to create a mod but i dont mean create some escenarios and create events. i mean REAL MODDING i want to code the game but i dont know where to start i mean i dont find any code archive. i have time and i want to do it but i need some directions. please if any one create a mod codding the game please guide me at the beguining please
  20. The 70 Years Rule Have this happened to you before: you created a leader for a scenario but instead of him appearing, an older leader appears. Why does it happen? Shouldn't the game pick the youngest leader for a civilization in a scenario? Or does it? Through trial and error, a condition was found on the game leader selection mechanism. I'll describe it in a short phrase: A Leader has a lifespan of 70 years. Should it be 70 years old at a scenario, the next youngest leader appears. Leaders have this weird condition where they "die" at 70 years, and they rule the country until birth to death. To explain this better, here I made these pictures to explain the testing: Now you know, why your leaders didn't appear, in case you where making scenarios with leaders of very close birthdate. It was because the older leader wasn't 70 years old at the scenario where the new leader should have appeared.

During modding, I found myself need the operation of adding events to formable civilizations. e.g.: assume A forms a civilization B through formable decision (instead of events) then I would like to trigger a event for civilization B. However, after I added events to civilization B, such civilization would be added to the game at the beginning, with land 0. Then A can not form B since it violates the condition "civilization B does not exist". I've tried to first form B into another civilzation C, but that does not work. What should I do? I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to solve this problem. Thank you in advance for your help!!!
  22. I keep trying to add civilizations to my game (PC, Steam) and I use the legit process, (Add Flag, add Tag, add correct info in Language file). My only issue is, if I add more than around 10 civilizations like this, it causes me to crash when I hit the play button (shown in picture). I can still edit/make scenarios, edit map stuff, add formables, and do everything else, but I can't actually play the game part of the game. If anyone has a fix or any info I'd greatly appreciate it!

  25. So I was thinking what if we could brand Age of Civilizations 2 as the flexibility of Minecraft or Garry's Mod with the genre of Grand Strategy? What are your thoughts on this? Also if your seeing this Lukasz what are your thoughts on this idea?
