    Corrupted save file

    Adx97 posted a topic in Bugs

    After I load save file it return back to main menu and I load it again but when i try to open diplomacy menu this happen ( attached pic ). Idk why this happen, before I save the game nothing unusual happen. On another game ( same nation, 1440 scenario and delete save file because I can't play it ) The screen turn dark after a few turn after I unpause the game. I restart the app and then... I can't load my save game (turn 425).

    This did work in some of my tests. (I deleted the save, then added it back, and it worked!) ALL STEPS! First, go to saves, next go to games. Next, you'll want to go the the map that your save is in. For example, if i have a good save i want to share in the Europe map, i'll pick the Europe folder. After that, i recommend removing saves that you no longer play. This will make the next step easier. Go to the folder of your save. (If you removed other saves, you'll go into the Age_of_Civilizations file so it'll be easier to find, & to make sure it's your save, go to the .JSON file, it'll have your civ's tag.) Now that you have it, copy & paste it into a new folder. if you have someone else's save, copy the name of the folder, and paste in into the Age_of_Civilizations file. Example: The Folder's name is 1635659856454ozvyiaxw, so i'll add it in the Age_of_Civilizations file like so: (Other Save);1635659856454ozvyiaxw; And that's how you do it. (You can do it with removed scenarios as well, but removed civs may cause some issues.)

    Basically I'm trying to come up with a tool that converts HOI4 saves to a scenario in AOH2, I've been looking at scenario files and save files for the AOH2 for reference and they're not plain text files unlike the other game and they're unreadable. I think the developer doesn't want third party tools to read and edit these files, is that the case?

    Hi I launched a great game for Castile in 1440 after hours of work I saved the game and closed the game, but later when I want to come back to the game it's all lost and whenever I try to open up "load game" tab my game crashes and closes down, the progress whilst sad that is lost isn't anything special I want this to not happen again to anyone.
