Hey guys, as the title says, I need some help with scenarios - specifically the events. So, I made my own custom WWII scenario and I'm making events to have real life events play out historically in the game. When I'm finished, I hope it'll be like watching World War II unfold before my eyes in video game form. A perfect display of history. However, I've just run into my first problem: ending the Spanish Civil War. I built the scenario so that the game starts out with both sides at war. It's actually surprisingly random with whoever wins, but I've easily rigged it in favor of the Nat

I can’t seem to get particular events to work, and at this point I am not actually sure if this is how you use them. My situation: I am recreating a Korean War scenario wherein if the UN occupies or controls provinces next to the North Korean border with China, the Chinese will ally themselves with North Korea and declare war on the UN. Now, maybe my triggers and outcomes are just plain out wrong. May I ask anyone for help on how to actually make this “event”?

I would just like to know this: How far can the Events be pushed? Could it be possible to create a roleplaying experience for players akin to CK2, just, obviously watered down? So far, I have noticed that the in-game typing/text function just allows the letters to go off-screen after a tiny wee-bit of typing and that... Poses a problem for this Scenario I am creating. One can go only so far typing blind without looking over the text so far, so, are there any possible alternatives to edit the Event messages outside of AoCII that wouldn't mess up the file's code itself, or is Notepad alright on

I've recently downloaded two scenarios from my friend, Boblik, that he shared to me personally. After downloading them, I found that when I tried to open the window that had a list of all your scenarios, it took me to the main menu. This was an annoyance, but not detrimental to the gameplay, so I thought little of it. However, I soon found that this same instance occurred when I tried to open the scenario editor, rendering me unable to access it. Can somebody please help me out here?

Hello Lukasz! I was creating a Cold War scenario with events, in this scenario there are many events, when I went to test, some events did not happen ... I checked several times to see if I found any error that was preventing the event and found nothing, so I assume it is a bug, from time to time it goes, and sometimes not, the event was to leave an independent country in such date, but it did not occur, this is hindering me to create the scenario and spread it to the community. Thank you for reading this topic!

I like to use the scenario editor. The events are by far the best tool for scenarios. You can make historical outcomes and fun gameplay. Still, the events needs some important options. One is the possibility to add description to events. You can put custom images to your events, yes. But a event needs a backstory or a explanation of what is going on. This can't be simply explained with a title. Other option is to add a "if AI controlled" condition. This is a important condition because if one, for example, wants to make an historical ww2 scenario with events, it would be annoying to be messed
