Diarios del Desarrollador 28/10/20

Hola, de nuevo. He estado trabajando en algunas mecánicas nuevas y corrigiendo otras. Mi intención es plantear todas las mecánicas para luego hacer todos los eventos e historias para finalizar el escenario. Les mostraré una nueva mecánica que implementé:

Proyectos Estatales

Mientras creaba y probaba el escenario tenía una pregunta: ¿cómo se podría hacer un sistema de decisiones? En el juego los eventos te salen de repente en su fecha correspondiente, pero no hay exactamente una pestaña en la que puedas elegir decisiones como "crear un instituto de investigación", "invertir en tal región". Si hacía eventos que sucedieran en una determinada fecha sobre este tipo de decisiones, el jugador se sentía como si de repente viniera alguien y dijera "hey, vamos a construir una casa, ahora tienes que pagar diez mil dolares, me importa si no los tienes, es tu única oportunidad".

Entonces hice varias pruebas hasta dar con un sistema que permita al jugador elegir un catálogo de decisiones sobre proyectos especiales, los cuales se realizan dentro de un lapso, y al finalizar, devuelven a la pantalla de decisiones. Esta mecánica nueva la llamo "Proyectos Estatales":

Como ven, yo elegí la opción "invertir en la región andina", la cual tras 35 turnos finaliza y añade economía a las provincias del norte del país. Cuando finaliza me devuelve al evento de Proyectos Estatales para que elija otro, y así sucesivamente.

Notarán que en el evento se utiliza una civilización llamada "Banco de Datos". Esto es un pequeño truco que permite hacer eventos avanzados. Es algo que explicaré con detalle en el lanzamiento del mod, en el manual que publicaré.

¿No es molesto jugar un escenario, ponle tu Mundo Moderno, y que a los diez turnos Estados Unidos ya esté en guerra con Canadá, Reino Unido, Cuba, y otros 3 países? La IA no tiene control, o al menos no es tan inteligente, a la hora de declarar guerras. Pero el problema realmente viene cuando se quiere hacer un escenario en donde se supone que no haya un conflicto a los 5 turnos, debido al contexto histórico. Para solucionar esto hubo que hacer un pequeño truco.

Una civilización fuera del mapa recibe un evento repetible que le pone un pacto de no agresión a todos los países permanentemente. De esta manera la computadora no puede declarar guerras. Problema resuelto.... si es que no fuera por otro error de las decenas del juego. Resulta que los pactos de no agresión no impiden al jugador declarar guerras. Así que es el jugador ahora el que puede invadir a todo el mundo a los 10 turnos. ¿Qué se hace para solucionar esto? Pues no hay otra manera que ponerle muchos penalizadores al jugador que declare guerras sin tener un "casus belli" (el cual se obtiene por eventos), le baja el 100% de la felicidad, y por si fuera poco, países como Brasil pueden intervenir en el conflicto. Esto hará al jugador pensar dos veces antes de meterse en una guerra.

Y para terminar, el servidor oficial de Historia del Sur ha caído en desuso. De ahora en adelante el desarrollo y las actualizaciones del mod se publicarán en el servidor del grupo hispano AOC2sp. El link del servidor es el siguiente: https://discord.gg/Pfybfmu

Hola! Amigo disculpa, a pesar de que tengo el post en "follow", no me salen las notificaciones cuando alguien responde aquí. Apenas veo esto un mes después! Respondiendo a la pregunta, al mod le está yendo bien. Dentro de poco de hecho voy a publicar una actualización grande. Te recomendaría, si tienes cuenta, unirte al Discord de AoH2sp: https://discord.gg/Pfybfmu . Ahí hablo frecuentemente del desarrollo, y publico los pequeños avances. Acá solo espero a que tenga varios avances para poner una actualización.

      Age of History II : The Second Great war is an AoH2 mod with the objective of 
      completely revamping the World War 2 Scenario by perfecting it 
      and adding a completely new and exclusive mechanic : Event Trees
      THE MOD HAS BEEN RELEASED

      The mod aims to be an immersive experience for the players of AoH2 that are bored of repeating the same stuff every time with different mods. While other mods aim to expand the map, add provinces or make more scenarios, "The Second Great War" (or just TSGW) for short gives a completely new spin to an already in game scenario,  making it as interesting as possible,  by perfecting the scenario (making it better gameplay wise, as well as adding cores and diplomacy) and most of all, Adding  "Event Trees" aka an original mix between  events and Hoi4-like Focus Trees. These event trees take you to different paths depending on the nation you choose to play as, with events popping up either as one-time decision with no excess influence or as complete game changers that can change your path and your following events down the line. 
       
       
      Together  with historical events, such as remilitarizing the Rhineland, opening of airports, building of museums, Historical wars, historical ultimatums and more, we also have completely new and different alternate unhistorical paths you can take your nation through. Want to ditch germany as fascist Italy and pursue an alliance with the Allies? You can! Want to focus on the economy as Germany? You can! Want to enter the Axis as a military government in Turkey? You can! Want to create the Intermarium as an alliance of sovereign states ? You can!  Want to re-establish the Monarchy in Brazil after a violent year long civil war? Hell yes you can!
       
      This mod adds over 200 different events all over the world, with bigger Event Trees for important nations in the second great war , like Italy,  Germany, Japan, the USSR and America , but also adding massive event trees to less popular nations,  like Romania, Bulgaria, Brazil and more!

      HELL NO! The mod has already been 4 month in development, and it's close to being finished, meaning that by the end of the month or even EARLIER, you could get to play it on both Android or PC with no problems!

      Update (2/19/21)
      Day of History 4 guys! So yesterday I got tested positive for coronavirus and I still feel sad. But I made a stream and you guys cheered me up :3
      So um... thank you for that, I made over 100 provinces this week (114 to be exact), finished venostan, started with johanca (after few provinces it'll be finished too) and made 2 (yes, 2) provinces in stanovia. lol | Here it goes:

      Day of History 3! Yes it's another friday and yesterday I was streaming myself doing this map (Watch on: http://youtube.com/kingpvz)
      I made over 90 provinces and completed following regions: Scann', Mauritovania, Stanovian Island A (last island that was not done yet) and UnScann'ed Stanovia! Took me less time than I thought. lol; Also I raised my plan for provinces by 500! | Here it is:

      Another DoH (Day of History) is here and I made 82 new provinces, Finished Stanovian borders, completed Venostan Kingdom and Martinovia and on the top I did some point experiments lol | Here it is:

      Conqueror's II / What if Trotsky Becomes Leader of USSR? (DETAILED SCENARIO)
      One of our modders, @İmperial Sealand, has designed a new scenario for Conqueror's II.
      This scenario is about "What if Trotsky Becomes Leader of USSR?". This is a really detailed scenario.
      There are 93 events in this scenario. So if you love play the game with events, this scenario is a good choice for you.
      STORY OF THE SCENARİO:
      With Lenin's death in 1924, the Soviet Union was shaken, and many Politburo members did not know what to do. Finally, in 1925, Trotsky took over with the support of the Red Army and students, but there were too many names in the Politburo that opposed him. Trotsky had to be careful.
      In Germany, the German Social Democratic Party cooperated with the Communists against the incoming Nazi threat, and in 1928, with Trotsky's support, the Communists came to power in Germany and drove the Nazis out of the country. After communist rule, the monarchists captured Prussia and established the Kingdom of Prussia.
      The Nazis came to Austria and formed a party and came to power in 1932. They then formed an Axis alliance with Hungary, Poland and Bulgaria. In addition, the Nazis had secret organizations in Switzerland and Germany.
      In Italy, the Communist Party staged a coup led by Mussolini and waved the red flag.
      France, on the other hand, was going through a very turbulent period, and the Communists were getting stronger every day.
      Spain, like France, was in a turbulent period.
      In Brazil, there was a communist coup.
      In Asia, Japan-China tensions were about to turn into a war.
      The states of Czechoslovakia and Galicia, on the other hand, were experiencing tensions with the Axis powers.
      In the same way, Hungary, Bulgaria and the USSR claimed rights on the territory of Romania.
