I never knew how to make a map but finnaly got it and started making a map!

We need Scenario & event creators!

Age of Civilizations is a game that focuses on grand strategy, politics and other government driven elements. Łukasz Jakowski however, included something in the game that is rare in other grand strategy games. Customization. Customizing civilizations, leaders, maps, Whole scenarios, events in these scenarios, etc, etc...

This, i think is a very good thing. The only bad thing about this, is that the game focuses more on the custom creative aspect than the realistic grand strategy one. This mod is going to be an overhaul for both these things.

Unfortunately, a mod with the same goals named Addon+ is being created right now. My mod is still in a Debug alpha phase, and i can't release it in a state like this.

This mod will include the following list of things:

Translated Loading Screens

Scenarios:
The Great WarΒ (World War I) With historical events, leaders and custom civilizations, starting in 1st of January, 1914. (I've started doing it, The events are halfway done!)

Overhauling theΒ World War II ScenarioΒ in the following ways:
Adding historical events with descisions.

Setting an other start time for the Scenario for better readiness.

Giving More corresponding bonuses to leaders given by their personality.

Scenario "Die Folge" (The aftermath) happening right after the first world war, (Yes, believe it or not, lots of stuff happened after the first world war) containing a variety of events.

Scenario "A Modern Mona Lisa" Containing the events of mostly Hitler taking control over germany (1920-1930). If you want to play as a country, that is falling apart at the moment, this is for you.

A Cold War Scenario is also being made, butΒ i'm not promising anything for this one.

Backgrounds:

Including a large variety of backgrounds, from a realistic one with every little mountain on earth, to a low resolution one for computers that can't handle the mod that good.

Government, ideologies:

From the leftist Communism the the Extreme right Fascism there are an estimate of ~15 ideologies being made right now including governments that are only avalible on 1 country in real life, or none anymore such as Patriotism (Hungary) Democratic Republic, Despotic Monarchy, so on and so forth. Planning on creating an election system for democratic countries just like in Hearts of Iron IV.

Languages:

Yes, every Scenario, Custom Leader, Loading screen and such will be translated intoΒ other*1Β languages.

Custom Maps:

Custom Maps will be added to the mod, with custom scenarios, so people can create something new on a new map. Current map plans include Hungary, Austria, Germany, Washington,Β Budapest andΒ The map of Graz.

Leaders:

Of course, if we make scenarios, we need to make sure, that we have good leaders for each scenario. From a Revolutionary Gavrillo Princip to an alternative timeline Franz Ferdinand, there will be as much leaders as possible.

Systems:

-A HOI4 style focus tree, but in this mod, it's called "Descision Tree", to avoid being sued by Paradox.

-There will be lots of new stuff in the game. These new system include:

-More types of Vassals (Dominion, Colony, Crown Colony, State, Soviet Socialist State, etc, etc...)

-Democratic elections all four years, if the country is: Democratic, Republic, City State, PatriotismΒ (Already Tested on Demo)

-Ideological support system (See: hearts of iron 4) as you do your actions (Have Idea how can be easily done but not tested)

-Changing the values of terrains, planning before war nescessary

-Adding seasons, each one having it's own effects on attacks, income and happinessΒ (Already Tested on Demo and working.. almost properly)

-Adding religionsΒ (Currently focusing on)

Systems that I still donΒ΄t know how can be done, yet:

-Adding a "secret service" action, where up to 400 people can work on a specific assignment, such as:

Assasination

Espionage

Capture

Recapture

Special Operations

Systems that you suggested:

-Adding marriage system


-Make you see the political parties and their popularity through cores. Each one will have different president. The presidents will change when another political party wins the elections.

I remember checking the original Ultimate Overhaul every few weeks to see if any news had came back when I was relatively new here and not so familiar with mods being abandoned. Really hope that this one at least has one release.

I think itΒ is possible to add the nukes. a reactor can be built in the same way a tower and fort can be, but only after someΒ ammount of research, and having to spend money and turns to do so. And even then theΒ nukes should be possible to be built costing lots of money. for 2 reasons. 1,Β to avoid player and AI from causing So Long, and 2, to show that nuke making isΒ not easy as it seems like

The nukes maybe would not be sent by bombers, but rather like missiles, such as ICBMs. the nuke building would work like tower and fort. missile base as the tower, and reactor/power plant as the fort. and the missile range would become larger only if it is done by upgrading research and costs. The longer the range the money are needed to build and launch even one nuke alone

Nukes should so have a catastrophic effect on a province they are launched at. for example, if a nuke is fired at the capital of large country, it would depopulate the province itself as well as the neighbouring ones. due to this, the economy and stability of the attacked country would go down and taking a long time to recover itself

another proposal i have for this mod, is to have a larger World map. the Vanilla world map is too small and cannot fit more countries either in historical or alternate scenarios, it leaves too little space for the world, and makes nonsensical map paintingΒ too easy. the World map i propose is this one, the map from World+

unlike the actual World+ or its counterpart Project Alpha, the map would look EXACTLY as it is shown here, as in the ammount of provinces and EXACTLY as how they are drawn. this map does not show the tiles for seas and oceans but that can be solved later i guess

thereΒ΄s gonna be lot more provinces. I hope it wonΒ΄t crash. But not for all countries so it isnΒ΄t too big.

And they have to look like how are drawn on that map, except for those which have to be revised to fit with borders of some eras. I think adding realistic ammounts of population depending the era of the scenario would be the hardest part tbh, and drawing all rivers in the world would be painstaking too perhaps

Well not currently. ItΒ΄s not that easy with all the mechanics and IΒ΄m currently reworking the map for the sixth time..
Been in production since 2019.
