How to change in-game font [PC]

Follow these steps:

  1. Download your .TTF file, i will use as an example sans.ttf
  2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Civilizations II\game\fonts ;to find in your PC: right click in the game in steam and go to properties, then check in local files
  3. Rename rbold.ttf to rbold1.ttf or anything else
  4. Add your .ttf and rename it to rbold: sans.ttf>rbold.ttf

If you keep the original name it wont work, to revert the changes make rbold1>rbold and quit your file

      hello everyone, i'm new to this platform,  plus this map i was working on, took me about 6 days in total when it's come to map making, what inspire me is that some famous guy on the forum with xi as profile pic called age of history 2 as "risk ripoff", but without further a do, welcome to:
      RISK: age of history 2 edition

      +almost like aoh1, but way smaller.
      -some country placement may be wrong but it's not like risk was accurate to begin with.

       
      - eleven scenario as of right now (there'll be more to come, don't worry)
      0.2 update : + fixed the regional placement of the map.
      + added a new scenario: 1440.
      + a ton of formable nations, around 27.
      + created alot of city in different provinces.
      -  due to the lack of sea province in the map, there's only one province wastelanded in 1440.
      -  i accidently made H.R.E the number one in 1440.
      0.3 update: + fixed terrain placement slightly, and fix some continent placement *northern north America and Alaska ain't Asia*
      + 3 more scenarios added.
      + made a new civilization exclusive to one scenario (the requested one).
      - still no sea provinces as of now.
      note: the map was made with map editor 2 and edited with vanilla game.
      0.4 update: + brand new but probably stolen and modified a bit map: africa.
      + a new scenario for original risk map.
      - still no sea province for original risk map...
      0.4.1 update: + some minor fixes around connection between provinces.
      +  three new scenarios for risk Africa.
      + around 11 formable nations added.
      - still no update for original risk map (i'll get around for this sometime).
      0.5 update: + SEA!, finally added ocean provinces.
      + 5 more scenarios added (most of them may be small and short).
      - couldn't figure out how to turn it into android yet...
      -no progress on risk Africa yet.
      0.5.5 update: + added wonders.
      - for some reason the wonders in the same place is doubled, i don't know how's that happened?.
      - no real progress has been made other than adding vanilla wonders to risk_map only.
      download down below if you're interested:
      (for some dumb reason, the mod is undownloadable unless you're a member of this website forum, i'll look around this once the rar file getting heavy or something like that )
      (final update: FORGET IT, i no longer had the desire to finish this shit, it's just a glorified map with few scenario and the same old vanilla formable civilizations)

      Welcome Back Gennosen!
      Its been a while since the first update of the mod so i decided to update yall on what im currently working on and i must tell yall that i have some pretty cool stuff prepared. So without further ado, lets check out the change log for this years changes to the mod.

      Name change
      As you can see the name of the mod has been changed from "Eurasian Madness | What if germany won WW2? |" to in my opinion cooler sounding "Fires of Eurasia | A very diffirent take on the history of the 20th century |" or FoE for short.
      Map related changes
      1. I changed the background of the map to be entirely black. It gives the map this TNO-ish vibe to it.

      2. Changed a bunch of city names and working on changing more of them
      Border changes
      the west african states have been merged into two entities: The 4th french republic and the central saharan republic to stray further from the mod looking like a walmart copy of TNO

      Reworking the russian warlord states.

      Asia has been reworked to look more like the war there ended in a stalemate and not in japanese domination.

      Brazil doseant look like hungary after the treaty of trianon anymore, although the puppet states of falagnist bolivia and paraguay remain

       
      New ideologies
      I added a couple of new ideologies including stuff like despotism, diffirent kinds of democracy, communism, 3 types of nazi related ideolgies and an SS aristocracy ideology. For now thats all of them but im palnning on adding more and maby even releasing them as a seperate mod called ideologies+ or something. I sadly had no better option than to use hoi4 icons for these ideologies and i think i might stick to them until i find someone who could make some icons for me

      Better portraits
      Allright i have to admit that i tottaly copied the style of hoi4 leader portraits and put them in my mod, but for my defence i made them black and white so they kinda stick out??? Idk but they look cool and i made almost 200 of them by now. Heres some of my favourites:

      Updated Reichkommisariat flags and new flags

      And thats about it for now. The release date still is predicted on the end of 2022 unless there will be some dificulties with stuff like school and such. Most of the custom portraits and nations are done so soon i will start working on events and actually progressing the game from 1954. Also im thinking about making a DC server for this mod where yall can talk about it and leave your sugestions and so on. I would really apreaciate it, if you would spreat word about this mod since it has a bunch of potential that i will definatly work on. for now thats it, stay safe and good night.
