Eisenherz got a reaction from PANTIC in Interview to Lukasz Jakowski
Here's the rtf version of it:AoC_Interview_Eisen.rtf

The game changed his life. He dropped out of college and created the Age of Civilizations II himself

It is possible that you have not heard about the turn-based strategy of Age of Civilizations, which appeared on mobiles. Łukasz Jakowski's game turned out to be a great success, which changed the life of the creator. He dropped everything and left for the Bieszczady Mountains created Age of Civilizations II.

As the creator himself writes, his game has a simple rule: easy to learn, hard to master. The player's task is to unite or subjugate the world with the help of army and diplomacy. The era after the era passes through the history of mankind, from the first Civilizations to a distant and unknown future. In Age of Civilizations II also has an extensive editor, where you can create entire scenarios and maps.
Returning to the original, AoC came out as a premium game and achieved tremendous success, because it was bought by over 100,000 players. This allowed Łukasz Jakowski to drastically change his life. Where did the idea for historical strategies come from? I asked.

"Even before I started to create games I was interested in history, which was and still is a great curiosity for me. My favorite game genre has always been strategies, so the choice for my own production was simple 🙂 "- says Łukasz Jakowski.

How big was the success of Age of Civilizations? The game only went on mobiles and in the premium version, which is payable. Pretty risky move, especially on Android.
"The first part of Age of Civilizations came only on Android and Windows Phone. It was an adventure for me, an additional project in my free time during my studies, which turned into something more. The reception of the first part by the players exceeded my expectations, I did not expect such results and I was not ready for it. The success was so great that I decided to stop my studies in the third year and focus on the development of the game and activities. "- says Jakowski.

How did the unexpected success of the one influence the decision to issue a continuation? On November 21, you debuted from AoCII on PC, and also on Android and iOS. And from what I know, you created the game ... yourself.
"Without the success of one, it certainly would not be Age of Civilizations II. The stability that the first version gave me has allowed me to work on the second part for almost three years. And yes, the entire AoCII project was created only by me. "- says Łukasz Jakowski.
Create a game and succeed yourself, sounds like a beautiful dream of many creators. If you want Łukasz Jakowski's dream to continue, you can buy Age of Civilizations II on Steam. Especially that the game costs only PLN 14.99.

Eisenherz reacted to The_Man in Projekt Erika: History's last chapter
Projekt Erika is a Scenario/mod which takes place in an alternate 1960s universe where the old world has been completly subjegated by the axis powers and the world is on the brink of nuclear Holocaust.
Before getting further into the mod i have to get one thing out of the way. As there are a bunch of axis victory mods/ scenarios you might see a few similaritys with other scenarios here and there but do keep in mind that i did not create this with the intent to steal any ideas from other talented creators though i have to give credit to the hearts of iron 4 mod "the new order" as it was the reason i even decided to create this mod.
Now without further ado here is what "projekt erika" has to offer.
Scripted events: Projekt Erika seeks to immerse the player with hundreds of scripted events such as wars, civil wars, alliances and others throughout the game so the player will have a different expirience each time he boots up the game.  Unique new Nations: Currently Projekt Erika features over 50 new nations, some Historical and some less historically accurate although my goal is to add over a hundred new nations which can be formed/ created through events and such. Scripted Countries: As mentioned before Projekt Erika relies heavily on events and as such the main countries in the game such as germany, Japan and the United states (just to name a few) will have many events with which i will try to emulate some sort of focus tree and as such some nations may have a more clear paths they can go down on than others. I may come up with more ideas as time goes on but for now this is all that I have planned...
Several Portraits: (all credit goes to the tno devs)

                                    Europe at game start

2 Seperate events as examples (might look different at release)

As for when Projekt Erika will release I have no idea however what i can tell you is that i will work on it until i see it fit for release so YOU can have the best expirience. If you have any questions you can just reply to the topic and i will most liekly answer them as I am very eager to hear your opinions.
This is the_man from projekt erika signing out.

Hello, my dear AoH players, I bring you bad news, and that is, the mod will be canceled, I have had many problems lately, which have discouraged me a lot, and I do not want to work on this mod, at least for now, so I know It will cancel, I do not know if I will resume it in the future, but for now it will be a goodbye, the mod will continue to be available on its download page, but there will be no more updates.
I wish you all the best, I hope you do super well, and bye !!!

Tired of travelers in time? Tired of the leaders who only take the water of life? Well then, I have the solution!
AoC II: The Kings of Dynasties!!!

AOC II: The Kings of Dynasties: It is a mod based on the Middle Ages that tries to be an expansion for the Age of Civilization II game. Play as a county, kingdom, or empire and survive through time, expand your domains throughout the troubled Christian Europe, subdue Muslim Africa, fight against the different Indian kingdoms, and defend yourself against the mighty advancing Asian kingdoms and empires to the west. Play in several of the scenarios created by Ple2 and form powerful civilizations either diplomatically or by force.
    The mod contains:
-Dynasties for each of the playable civilizations found on the stages
    -559 Different dynasties
    -1120 new playable civilizations
    -185 new formable civilizations
-New scenarios based on the era of feudalism
-New forms of governments for the different religions / Cultures of the time
    -New Soundtrack

I want to say and make it clear, that the mod will probably have some historical error, and that is because of the scant information that is found about some dynasties, but if you know the kingdom, county or duchy that belonged to such a dynasty I would appreciate it Tell me.

    Frequent questions:
What languages is the mod in?
At the moment the mod is only in English and Spanish.
Are there events in the mod?
At the moment there is not, but I plan to add them in a future update.
Do I need to install something to be able to play mod?
No, all you have to do is download the mod and when you extract it you can start playing the mod.
When I change the HUD scale the letters get smaller. What can I do?
It is simple, to correct this, you just have to go to Options, and go down to the Fonts section, and then change the size to your liking.

You can now download the mod here!!!

Eisenherz reacted to ElectricSquid7 in Victorian Age - 1836
Imagine, if you will, a time before Lukasz added the Victorian Era scenario to the game. I was an avid fan of the game even in this time, and because I wanted a Victorian Era scenario, I created my own. I dubbed the scenario the Victorian Age, and it was wildly innacurate. However, even so, when the official Victorian Era scenario came out, I was disappointed to find it was rather lackluster. It disappointed me for a number of reasons, so I decided to upgrade my Victorian Age scenario. It's been months in the working, but I feel now that it is ready to be released to the public.
    ==What does it change?==
My Victorian Era scenario adds a wide variety of changes in the map - new states are added to West Africa, India, North America, and some parts of Europe, as you will see by the screenshots provided. Furthermore, it adds a wide variety of historical events that can build a dynamic alternate history.

    North America:

    South America:

    Northern Africa:

    Southern Africa:

    India:

    Australasia:

    ==What problems might I encounter?==
Unfortunately, some of the events are rather buggy. They may fire at the wrong time or with the wrong triggers. However, it should not greatly impact the overall playing experience. Also, it does not fix the issue of leaders being present in the wrong time period. Thus, Abraham Lincoln is still president of the U.S. in 1836.

Before you download, be warned! The "civilizations_editor" and "leaders" folders will contain a white file simply named "Age of Civilizations." REMOVE THIS FILE FROM THE FOLDER BEFORE DOWNLOADING. If you do not, it will replace all the data you have built up through playing the game with all of my data. You have been warned.

Create a game and succeed yourself, sounds like a beautiful dream of many creators. If you want Łukasz Jakowski's dream to continue, you can buy Age of Civilizations II on Steam. Especially that the game costs only PLN 14.99.

Too little too late. This game is dead. If you would've released it sooner it might've brought some popularity back but now there's no hope. But eh, at least you did one more thing for this game before you abandon it

Eisenherz reacted to 11:59 Development Team in AoC2 Launcher - Released!
Alright fellows, final preparation work is being done for the 1. May 2019 Release Date. Thanks for your patience. Right now, I can tell you that everything about the launcher is fully functional, including the ability to download and install mods directly from the launcher. However, the launcher will initially come out as a .exe only, and later on Linux and MacOS support will be worked on. However, this shouldn't take too long since the entire launcher is built using node.js and HTML, as well as other web-based languages. There are no plans to postpone this date, and most of the finishing work is now being invested in the 11:59 mod, of which The Sun Finally Set will be released, along with the launcher on 1. May 2019.
EDIT: Because I live on the West Coast of the United States, the launcher may be released on 2. May 2019 depending on where you live in the world, and it's a schoolday for me, but I can tell you it'll be released on 1. May 2019 PST.
