Help with in-game tutorial

New Player, so naturally I clicked on the tutorial.  I appear to get control of a random nation and I see at the top left of the screen an introductory message titled "Welcome to the Tutorial"

There's also some text at the bottom right of the screen that reads "Next", which I assume is tied to the tutorial.  However, neither element responds to mouse clicks.  For example, if I try to click on the "Next" text, the game selects the land or water territory behind/occluded by Next.  I'm guessing clicking Next is how one advances through the tutorial, but I'm not able to do that.

So, how do I advance the tutorial?  Is there a fix for my problem or a keyboard shortcut?

You have to click the next turn button under the next text.
