How do I delete custom civilizations

Im trying to delete civilizations I dont want but whne I tried to delete them, it just made their name gibberish with the question mark flag on it. Is there anyway to delete civilizations you made?

You have to open the file "Age_of_Civilizations" in the folder "Age of Civilizations II\game\civilizations_editor" and delete the name of the folder the country files are located in from the file.
