0 Guest Devonus Posted February 6, 2019 I have the same problem. But in my case it was turn 3057, and because, my rage right now can hardly even be described. I've spent more than 30 hours playing this one campaign... Oh yeah, and the backup saves don't work either, unless I've done something wrong while replacing the corrupted ones with them (which is entirely possible). Sadly, the existence of this bug breaks the game; to be honest, I'm about to give AoCII a negative review on Steam, not to hurt the developer (by creating such a game all by himself he has really earned my respect, and he's not losing it because of this one bug :D), but to inform other people about this glitch; right now, bacause of the risk of encountering it, I sadly have to say that buying the game would not be worth it, and I myself would probably wait until it is fixed, if I haven't already bought the game (and provided I knew about the bug prior to buying it). If someone could help us here, I would greatly appreciate it, although I fully acknowledge the possibility that my save may already be unrecoverable. 0 aijec 53 Posted February 6, 2019 The only solution I can give you is this : Go to Game's Install Dir. Right click on the game, select "Run As Administrator" When the game opens up, go to "Age Of Civilizations" tab or "Random Game" button. Just start a game like this. When the game starts, skip 1-2 rounds. Then go back to main menu, now you can load your save. If this works PLEASE inform me about it. If not, Well I'm sorry for you, I can't give any other solution. But if it works, sadly you have to do this everytime you start the game. It worked for me, since I had the same problem. Most people already contacted him about this problem. I think he should be working on it. Its gonna be hard since he actually can't do much, this is a problem with Java.
