I cannot play the Sengoku Scenario on the so-called ease mode

I cannot play the Sengoku Scenario on the so-called ease mode. My game is crashing. I want to do Japan in the Sengoku scenario in easy mode. Easy mode is: I change the Skill Level to Beginner and change the AI Aggressiveness to the lowest. Then the game crashes.
