Sending military aid without going to war

In the old game, military aid could not be sent to a country without participating in a war. So, in the new game, will we be able to send our military units without joining the war?

The feature you mentioned is already present in Age of History 2. For example, I want to help the Spanish Civil War by sending infantry, tanks and planes.

Maybe there will be mercenary armies. But that's not exactly what you meant.

There is another way to support the country. By sending her resources (so far, only coins are allowed). Maybe there will be something more.

There is an option to send gold to another country which will enable them to recruit more men at arms:
 

In regards to volunteers, Lukasz has stated the possibility of him adding a volunteer mechanic. We will have to wait and see.
