Why is the game getting labeled as a virus by windows defender every single time I want to open it? I dont know much about game development, but this just feels so cheap and bad. Shouldnt games on steam do better?

I’ve added an option to run the game using a plain JAR file, without packing it into an EXE file.

This happened to me aswell, I have never seen an error message like this

Edit: Allow the aoh3.exe in windows defender each time it detects it

Windows defender immediately quarantined the jar file after steam updated aoh3

Steam updated aoh3 and once again both the jar and exe files are detected as trojans

Since 18:07 I can't run the game at all, there was no option to choose as it was yesterday. I will only add that this morning everything was fine and the game worked

Update, the game is now working. If anyone has a similar problem, here is the solution:

The update that removed the exe file seems to have fixed it. Thanks Lukasz!
