Pnompenb 141 Posted April 29 (edited) Telegram channel (main) Discord channel (in progress) Hi! I'm continuing to work on my main mod for Age of History 3, Pillars of Power. I'm currently writing events and preparing for release. At the same time, I had a desire to transfer my old mod to the new AoHDe! 🗿 Through the Ages is a mod for Age of History 2, adding a new map of Europe with ~6,000 provinces, 15 detailed scenarios, new leaders, governments, and more. Navigable rivers allow you to make landings deep inside countries, but also become an obstacle when moving by land. Enhanced terrain effects require you to plan your offensives and defenses more carefully. Now its improved version will also be available for AoH2:DE! Changes compared to the previous mod: Improved graphics English language support New Leaders Added missing cities 20th century scenarios A more detailed 2026 scenario Removed the logo from the corner of the map and the empty starting scenario https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3728574936 Edited 11 hours ago by Pnompenb IIduce, Evis7, IlyaRU and 1 other

Pnompenb 141 Posted May 1 (edited) I AM FORCED TO CONFESS So, during the process, I had to choose between quantity and quality. Initially, I planned to add a few new scenarios, leaders, and cities and call it a day. But AoH's new features could ruin the mod's overall experience if they aren't given the attention they deserve: Religions. It's a strange system, and it's also difficult to integrate into an existing mod—you have to rework each civilization manually to at least slightly reduce the likelihood of things like Protestant Germany in the 13th century. HD flags. They're all great, but they also need to be made separately for TTA. Otherwise, we'll end up with low-quality images of old flags that are very noticeable. Finally, there are my own personal mistakes from the TTA days. I'm talking about things like the unnecessary fragmentation of civilizations. For example, two Czech Republics (one medieval, one modern) and similar things, which I want to avoid because it could confuse both players and me now, and it hinders the creation of formable civilizations and so on. Fixing all this would require serious effort and reworking a lot of civilizations. So, I decided I don't want to delay the mod's rework and release it sometime next week. Therefore, I'm forced to cut some of the scenarios at release (Pillars of Power reference). But, hopefully, if the mod finds its audience, I'll be able to happily continue development and add both missing and completely new scenarios. So, what we have now: TTADE will feature a well-developed 2026 scenario, as well as new 20th-century scenarios (3-4). (There are already 3) MOST LIKELY (I want to believe it) there will be 2 medieval scenario, 1 modern era scenario, and 1-3 19th century scenarios. (I haven't started making them yet) For all scenarios included in the release, I will create as many rulers as I can. (Currently, the 2026 scenario has rulers for all countries.) All cities will be added. (More than half of the ~6,000 have already been added.) Logo removed (not yet) Edited May 1 by Pnompenb
Pnompenb 141 Posted May 4 Shit, yesterday I added what I thought was a fun and UNIQUE challenge and was so happy with myself, and now I've opened the game's update history on Steam. Okay, I have another one. P.S. I hope the upcoming update doesn't include a challenge where Jude Law comes to power in the Vatican and conquers Jerusalem.
