But upon what did the creation of our genius rest? Upon force. Jesus Christ alone founded His empire upon love... And be assured, all of them were real men, but none of them was like Him; Jesus Christ was more than a man... At a distance of eighteen hundred years, Jesus Christ makes a demand which is above all others. He asks for the human heart." — Napoleon I Bonaparte. Crown of Emperors is a large-scale alternate history mod for Age of Histor*, transporting you to the world of 1834, where Napoleon has emerged victorious and changed the course of world history. After the War of the Fifth Coalition, France and Russia reach an agreement on the partition of the Austrian Empire. The Habsburg state suffers its final collapse, and Europe enters a new era of imperial compromises and hidden struggle. While the continent is being redrawn, the war in the Pyrenees drags on for years. Eventually, Great Britain is so exhausted that it is forced to conclude a humiliating "Eternal Peace" with France. The Old World is dying. The New World has not yet been born. Empires stand at the peak of their power. Nations are awakening. Revolutions are ripening. Alliances are cracking. Every throne has its price. Will you be the one to claim the Crown of Emperors? What awaits you: - An alternate world with deep lore - A new balance of power in Europe and the world - Unique states, alliances, and borders - The formation of new empires and nations - The atmosphere of the 19th century in the shadow of Napoleon's victory - Preparation for large-scale story campaigns Upcoming development plans: - A complete rework of ideologies - Replacing religions with a "Spheres of Influence" system - More states available for formation - Polishing of the map, balance, and interface Chapter I: Springtime of the Peoples The first major story update, which will bring: - Large-scale stories and events - New paths of development for states - Content for France, Spain, and Portugal - Events for the Confederation of the Rhine - Content for Prussia, Austria, and the states of Italy - The eve of the great revolutionary storm Special thanks: Thank you to everyone who follows the development, supports the mod, and believes in this project. Łukasz Jakowski 13,387 Posted Friday at 10:19 PM You can do the same for images over buttons like “Move,” “Recruit,” etc. On the left side, just leave some empty space in the image and shift the image 5 pixels to the right (or slightly more or less). rEman 6 Posted Sunday at 01:30 PM Work on the first major story update for CoE is already underway. It has been titled Chapter I: Springtime of the Peoples and will focus on the revolutions, national movements, and political upheavals sweeping across Europe. Note that this is only the FIRST part of the Chapter I update series. The current development is centered on the German region and the events surrounding the Confederation of the Rhine, Prussia, and the struggle for the future of the German lands. In the screenshots you can see the updated flags of the Confederation of the Rhine member states, as well as leaders for each member state who will guide their countries through a decisive moment in history. I can also confirm separately: this update will introduce a new minigame for Germany. It will revolve around domestic politics and the struggle for unification. Details to follow later. In parallel, a small system update is also in the works, which will revamp ideologies and religions, making them more atmospheric and useful for the mod's setting. There is still a lot of work ahead, but the foundation of the first chapter is already being laid. Not much news to share, but I wanted to write at least something in the first few days after the mod's release. rEman 6 Posted 3 hours ago 📢 A minor update is on the way: DEMO 1.5 DEMO 1.5 will be released very soon – this isn’t a new content pack, but a major technical update aimed at improving the demo version itself. In this update: - game loading has been optimised (especially for those who found it took too long); - new supported languages have been added; - the religion system has been completely replaced with “Spheres of Influence”; - all ideologies have been reworked and rebalanced. This is a small but important fix for the demo version, which should make the game more enjoyable to play right now. 🛠 The release is expected by the end of the week. Work on the first major update is continuing in parallel.
