GAME CRASHED WHEN I OPEN "LOAD GAMES"

I'm trying to play some old games that I had in my Age of Civilizations II when it crashes. Literally everytime I tried to open "Load Games" in my menu, it crashed and I can't play loaded games. I never moved a file or touched a code. Idk why exactly this is happening.

Try to start a new game and skip a turn in this game. After that, close AOC2 and open it again and see if it worked.

No, it didnt help. The screen its the same one as when you close the game, if thats for help.

Actually "skipping a turn" is by not moving anything right?

you start a new game and when it starts, skip to the 2nd round without touching anything.

I do this when the save game fails and this method works.
