Mirolit 185 Posted December 24, 2023 (edited) The new combat system contains EU3/EU4-style "order of battle" mechanics, but in real combat units enter the battle gradually, and units that have suffered heavy losses often leave the front line for a short time to rest and partially replenish the losses. Similar mechanics are already found in some RTS (for example, in Victoria 3), and I think this should add more dynamism to the battles, make them more realistic, and the outcome of the battle will become less predictable.
