DualTo 21 Posted January 18, 2024 In the game should be the happiness of the population, which will affect various details. Happiness should be measured from 0%-100% and every province should have its own. High happiness equals more income and rapidly growing manpower. Accordingly, low results in less income and less manpower, and in case of too low results in rebellions. Happiness must be influenced by various facts, for example, if the country is at war, or if food is low, it decreases. to increase it, various festivals can be held, special buildings can be built and so on. I absolutely love this idea! Incorporating the happiness of the population as a crucial aspect of the game adds depth and realism. It adds another layer of strategy for players to consider, making decisions not only based on military or economic factors but also on the well-being of their citizens. Neyoto Hiro 10 Posted January 29, 2024 Indeed, I hope also that when happiness drops by 10% or 5%, increases the rebellion percentage by 5 or 10 per turn. When happiness drops to 50% people will then begin to migrate to other provinces by 3% per turn, and so on.
Anament 0 Posted October 19, 2024 Honestly, games these days have too many stats. Back then, when I played, there wasn’t a “happiness” stat. Strategy games have such beautiful graphics and great storylines. But now I can’t play them anymore; my head just spins. I guess I’m getting old. Now for entertainment, I can only play light, simple games like the ones on 101 Games.
Fire Quickly 42 Posted October 19, 2024 Happiness can be a great complement to stability and other mechanics of the game, I like it
