Expanding the council

Recommended Posts

I thought a lot about this one and I think it would be interesting to have a queen and an heir but this is exclusive to kingdoms, if it were a democracy then there would only probably just be a vice president, I think these should be added the same way's that leaders are added in the game, when you create a queen you get to choose what native country they are from and what king that they are married to which could possible be an event (and the date) or there could just be a consorts page like there are for leaders, advisors and generals. the point of the queen in the council would basically be to advise and also provide an heir in the council and the heirs could also have their own page where you can add them as a player. the heir can basically just be put in the leaders page as they are expected to be the next leader so there would be bonuses and stop but there would be a new option called "heir to" and you choose which leader that they are to in that kingdom. You could also be able to disinherit the heir or queen with some sort of event options which is going to be like removing advisors but if there is a vacant heir then there might be anarchy after the ruler dies. I believe that this mechanic could be able to fix the problem of their being random royal marriages because since its up to the player to choose and not AI. I hope this made sense, Thank you
