Wayne23lololh 1,645 Posted April 3, 2024 (edited) I think that conferences used also to "prevent" conflict. Like the Berlin conference in 1884, created by Bismark to settle disputes between the European powers with interests in Africa to create pseudo borders of ownership, also to restructured the map of the Balkan region. For the game, I propose that AI countries had random claims/demands. And the country who runs the conference has a bonus point. The outcome of a conference could be when the conference finished : Be a war with all the following tribes, maybe 3 months after the conference. Impose some countries to lease land or countries. Annex countries Create alliances Disband alliances/confederations Put international wars Pay gold More (I have no more ideas) These conferences could bring various outcomes by approval rates. African tribes could be harder to stabilize after the Scramble for Africa, unsatisfied countries that must incur the following outcomes. That's all I have for now. So that could be possible to deepen. Wayne23lololh 1,645 Posted April 3, 2024 Maybe the first outcome is too complicated, aside, even if it's unrealistic, make when the conference is adopted, make the countries annex instantly, firstly as a claims, and then integrate with eventually more uprising rate and a higher rebellion risk (weak). To compensate, this could last months, even years. AleksGame

Wayne23lololh 1,645 Posted April 3, 2024 Thank you. Since the game has for now only one way to gain lands, which is war, I wanted to propose an alternative. And I forgot to say that only the 10-12 greatest countries could participate in the congress. Wayne23lololh 1,645 Posted April 3, 2024 (edited) A conference could be created if an ongoing issue lasts too long. Which differs from peace, a non-concerned country could make calls. Could be a war, climate change, or other things. The country who creates it must be a great power.
