Idea: add history mode to game. when you play on history mode, The game will progress chronologically and realistically, based on historical events. For example, if we are playing in 1939, Germany will declare war on Poland. In this way, the game can become realistic.

 

Note: If it's almost impossible to do it, we can just add this mode only to popular Scenarios.

Yes, perhaps this can be done by setting a certain civilization to fight only a certain enemy. BUT then what's the point of watching film adaptations of history textbooks? There are many beautiful videos about history and even about this country.
And besides, the player’s very participation in the gameplay will contribute to the development of the ahistorical plot. A great ruler will live longer than necessary. The player must support the rebellion... and now France is no longer united.
