Currently it is the Soviet Union which does not make sense, when it is not a union of multiple nations.

Instead it should be Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic OR Russian SFSR for short

The same could (in theory) apply to other nations, especially the post-soviet ones.

Em vez disso, deveria ser  a República Socialista Federativa Soviética Russa OU, abreviadamente, a SFSR Russa.

O mesmo poderia (em teoria) aplicar-se a outras nações, especialmente as pós-soviéticas.

Probably, the USSR should be a tag separate from Russia. Another thing is that before the formation of the USSR in 1922 (i.e. in 1917-1922), the RSFSR had a different interpretation, where the words "Soviet" and "Socialist" were reversed: the Russian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic. In 1922, the name was unified with the rest of the republics.
