If I understand correctly, advantage points are obtained as a bonus to researched technologies. Will advantage points be awarded for technologies already completed, for example, in a scenario for the modern world?

You will have reached the maximum technology existing in the game.

The only way to continue researching is by downloading community mods made specifically to extend the technology branch. 

I have no doubt that someone will make a mega mod exclusively to extend the technologies.
