Rodak Polak 597 Posted September 13, 2024 I think that a vassal's desire to regain freedom should increase when he is called to war by his lord. Sapajapa222, Redguy325 and Solu 2

Rodak Polak 597 Posted September 15, 2024 19 hours ago, Casual said: Why? Because having vassals in AoH 3 is already too strong. Besides, it is logical that if someone forces you to join a war against your will, you will probably not be happy and want to regain your independence. For example why should I, as a vassal of Great Britain, fight for the interests of Great Britain and not get anything in return Turtley

You need to fight for interests of the lord because in situation where someone else attack you, lord would support you. That's the meaning of vassals. (And in AoH2 vassal can refuse joining the war. However AI always agrees because that would be annoying) Turtley

Therefore, every vassal should strive for freedom

Vassal created when country lose war agains another country and MUST support interests of the lord. But lord wouldn't let another country take own vassal. Yeah, vassal should strive for freedom. But not like that! Even in real world vassals uprises by only valuable reasons, like mass terror, really high taxes or when lord becomes weak.
