Civilizations not appearing in each scenario

This happened after I installed a new update for Java, and the map editor refuses to open aswell.

I believe it also relates to java since it said "a java exception has occured".

After I installed JDK the error message disappeared but the map editor still doesnt open?

It happens to new scenarios aswell and every scenario I have. And I cant make new scenarios cus it wont let me. Deleting them won't help

Nvm just updated the entire game itself and it started to work, probably because of the version.

Honestly it seems to be a problem with the entire map file itself

What you have to do is uninstall the game, go to Steam, go to your Steam/steamapps/common/, then rename 'Age of History 3' to 'Age of History 3 - Backup' (or something along those lines). Move everything in there over from your base Age of History 3 folder (including mods and savegames). Now reinstall the game, and it should be a completely fresh install that should theoretically work since the JDK/JRE is bundled.
