How to change country with event?

I'm making this scenario of Ukraine and Novorossiya that you got the option (as Ukraine) to allow Novorossiya to separate or not(it will take 50k away if you don't allow them because its crushing the 'revolution') and I want to know if after it has separated I can make an event that allows the player to stay as Ukraine or play as Novorossiya.

So in order to play as novorussiya, you would select the outcome form civilisation and make ukraine form novorussiya.

This means that Ukraine will completely turn into novorussiya however we can fix this with another outcome for annexation and choose Ukraine again to annex all the lands you want Ukraine to have but leave the land you want novorussiya to have

Hopefully when this fires you will play as novorussiya and Ukraine will still be present. I believe their may be an issue in that Ukrainian territories may have a novorussiyan population, but that will not effect you too much hopefully

In the event to stay as Ukraine you will just need to select the outcome annexation for novorussiya and select the territories you want them to have

@At_The_Woods I made half of it but I need to go but the changing of places works, now just need to make another event to change the countries names

YES. I managed to make it work because I didn't know the game already had Novorossiya so I made a new one and a complex story but managed to make it work.
