The whole game doesn't work

When I try to load a specific game it will bring me back to the main menu. It is a match with 700+ turns with 5 different cultures... the biggest  problem is that it doesn't let me change the turn, open diplomacy or do any kind of action. Please help me, I created loads of custom maps and stuff.

Same happend to me, but i found a way to work around it. When u start your AOC2, first go start a new game, then exit to main menu and then load your game and it will be fine.
