Aoc2 multiplayer

Will there ever by a multiplayer option for this game I really enjoy it. If you don't know the answer please just leave your option. Do you guys think that multiplayer is necessary?

Multiplayer would make this game perfect. However, its existence depends only on the developer. And the developer, it seems, is no longer going to do at least some updates.

The main argument against adding multiplayer is the game will take forever. The thing is this issue can be easily overcome by doing a system where its everybody's turn at once. Lets say there's a turn timer of 10 seconds, everyone cast their orders then when time is up or they hit "Ready" button when done. The small modern day map is the perfect map because you don't have to manage many provinces and waste much time.

 

The best part is this can be accomplished with mods alone. Blade and Sorcery for example is a game that is single player but modders made multiplayer possible.

This game can be fun with multiplayer under the right circumstances, the map for instance. If its a map like modern day with scenarios, honestly this game could be the next mini hoi4.

I guess people could try something, our only hope is for lukasz to just sell the game or something like that
