Capitulation System

Capitulation system could be added to the game, but be changed on how it works depending on what era the game is, or what nation is being attacked.

 

• If the game is during 600-1830, then conquering the capitals and important cities would be crucial to the capitulation of a country.

 

- If the country is a tribal one, then it would be of no use to conquer just the capital, as tribal nation's capital don't really play much of a big importance, as it's not where all the power is held. This way, it would be almost impossible for a tribal nation do capitulate, instead it would be necessary to fully conquer it.

- If the nation is a small country, like those city states in Italia or Germania, their capital city being captured would mean their capitulation alongside. 

- If the nation is a big country but underpopulated, the capture of their capital would also mean their capitulation.

- If the nation is big but their population is distributed in a balanced form, the capital and some more big cities would be necessary to capitulate it .

 

• Now from 1830 - nowadays

- Most countries would have to have their most important regions conquered to capitulate. An example is the Soviet Union, which could capitulate once European and Caucasian parts of it's nation fall to the invaders.

- But for weaker and smaller countries, only the capitals and big cities should be enough to capitulate them.

      The buildings will be grouped into four categories:

      1. Administration

      2. Military

      3. Economy

      4. Unique capital buildings - These powerful buildings provide bonuses for the local province or for all provinces of your Civilization

       

      All of the buildings can be upgraded, here is example:

      Library -> University -> Academy

      Each building costs differently and gives different bonuses.

      Cost: 60 Gold

      Construction Time: 90 Days

      Maintenance Cost: 0.2 gold per month

      The name of the technology that unlocks this building (Optional)

      And write here what bonuses this building provides. Example:

      Bonuses:

      Local Tax Efficiency: +10%

      Manpower per month: +25

       

      The same goes for building upgrades.

       

      The most important thing with new building ideas is to not stick to the old game, get creative and offer new bonuses not available in Age of History 2, and maybe new things and mechanics will be added to the game
