It would be great to bring the idea of political movements/parties to life.Having not only a positive and negative impact on the country, like the elementary "+2% to the amount of tax", but also unique mechanics, ways of behavior for AI. It would be great to realize the struggle of political forces, so that it would not be so easy for the player to radically change the political life of the country overnight. For example, in the late Middle Ages, it was possible to strengthen various political forces with the help of assemblies of different estates (an example from real life is the Cortes in Spain or the States General of France). It will also be possible to add different political forces adhering to the same ideology, giving different bonuses for their country. You can add an idea of the ideology of the population, and the government will eventually have to take this into account. Let's assume that in the Middle Ages the consciousness of the population will be low, at the same time in the Victorian era the common population will participate more in the political life of the country.It would also be possible to delve into the mechanics of the estates of the population!

That would be great, but maybe the system you propose is a bit complicated and I think a lot of people preffer the game to stay simple. Maybe a system of elections with the player and the population voting at the same/procedural generated events that make change the power of parties inside a country would be less complicated for the game.

      The buildings will be grouped into four categories:

      1. Administration

      2. Military

      3. Economy

      4. Unique capital buildings - These powerful buildings provide bonuses for the local province or for all provinces of your Civilization

       

      All of the buildings can be upgraded, here is example:

      Library -> University -> Academy

      Each building costs differently and gives different bonuses.

      Construction Time: 90 Days

      Maintenance Cost: 0.2 gold per month

      The name of the technology that unlocks this building (Optional)

      And write here what bonuses this building provides. Example:

      Manpower per month: +25

       

      The same goes for building upgrades.

       

      The most important thing with new building ideas is to not stick to the old game, get creative and offer new bonuses not available in Age of History 2, and maybe new things and mechanics will be added to the game
