MarerjhAdditionalAccount 38 Posted March 16, 2024 (edited) Hello, @Łukasz Jakowski I want to draw your attention to a problem that can occur when translating a game. It has to do with the choice of the path you use to receive translations. At the moment you expect to receive translations to your e-mail or via forum, but what happens when more than one person offers their suggestions? For example, Ukrainian localization of Age of History 2 was done in the WORST way possible, which greatly worsened overall experience. I want you to take a look at the way UnCiv developers organized the translation process of their game (see: https://yairm210.github.io/Unciv/Other/Translating/). UnCiv is an Open-Source project I've volunteered a lot. The translation file is duplicated for different languages and all the files added to a separate folder inside GitHub project. Everyone can make edits to the translation and offer them to the developers for review (by creating a Pull Request). Everyone can also discuss these edits and make their own changes. I think this way would help to create a much better translation for the game.
