Something that I've noticed in the many videos that show us what aoh3 looks like is that a lot of both modern and historical provinces have been fixed, until the ships video, here I saw that the somaliland border has not been fixed yet...

 

This raises concern for other provinces which are the following:

The Alaskan panhandle

The Panama canal 

The suez canal 

And some of the European cities in china 🇨🇳 🇵🇦🇪🇬🇸🇴🇺🇲

Some border flaws are indeed present: for example, there is no Triangle of Halaib and Bir Tawil, the northern border in Djibouti is made modern (it became so only in 1935), there're no neutral zones on the Saudi-Iraqi and Saudi-Kuwaiti borders (they were separated only in the 20th century), etc. But against the background of good detail of most of the map, they aren't too noticeable, moreover, in the scenario of 1440 (i.e., the main scenario of the game) they willn't be particularly important
