Happylight 1 Posted April 24, 2024 Hi. First, I used a translator. Please understand. I remember that the AI in AOH2 was not that good. In AOH3, let the AI make more careful and complex decisions. ( I think Lucas is already doing well in other areas. ) For example, AI must make slightly different decisions in each country. (Based on the modern era) If an AI country plays a superpower like the USA or Russia, it will be able to play more aggressively. However, for relatively small countries or countries with many hostile forces nearby,AI behavior must change. Let's assume that in the game, the player's country is China, and the AI country is playing North Korea. If a situation arises where China becomes hostile toward North Korea, it would be more natural for North Korea AI to build large-scale fortresses in the border area with China and choose a defensive strategy. In AOH2, when a similar situation occurs, a weak country goes to war against a powerful country, but the army does not focus on defense and very foolishly sends all its troops to the border fort where the powerful country's army is gathered, exhausting them, and then being easily annexed by the powerful country. I remember it was quite frequent. In common sense, it would be more natural for a country that is inferior in military power to adopt a defensive strategy that exhausts the other country's military power and forces damage rather than adopt an offensive strategy. Alternatively, when the relationship between the player's China and North Korea's AI becomes hostile, North Korea's AI may instead adopt a diplomatic strategy of using South Korea, Japan, or the United States to try to keep China in check. Because it is a game, it will very often happen that a weak country ends up being annexed by a powerful country, but at least that should not be done too easily.
