OwnM3Z0 1,102 Posted September 17, 2024 (edited) a battle strategy mode where we move the troop boxes and can catch them with their guard down by encircling or hiding troops, thoughts? this could be done by giving bonuses to unit damage based on stuff like the enemy number, how many sides they're surrounding you from, and which side they're attacking you from (With front giving the least bonuses), maybe you would require a skilled general to pull off some stuff, but it's an easy addition by pretty much animating boxes moving, giving them health, and bonuses/debuffs to damage, the hard (ish) part would probably be the terrain, maybe based on the terrain type you would get a canvas with more mountains etc that soldier boxes suffer damage when trying to navigate especially cavalry each box would have its own bonuses and would have bonuses or debuffs based on the terrain type where the battle occurs, with some units like archers or gunmen throwing arrows from a distance while others like infantry or cavalry charge the enemy, the more a unit is damaged the more shattered their box will look, units take time to cross from one point on the battlefield to the other Maybe this system could be turn based or In real time, whichever suits you, but i do believe it should be togglable where you can have it as both, (real time strategy battles sound hard but way more fun and realistic) @Łukasz Jakowski thoughts? atleast think of adding this for later Edited September 17, 2024 by OwnM3Z0 Solu, user73739, Wayne23lololh and 4 others 4

How we would control these boxes if there's like 3 or 5 battles at same time? If it would be optional, then no one gonna use that for long. You idea is interesting but controlling armies is enough for me.
