Will it be possible to remove cores from provinces during the game? Like if you fully assimilate province or buy it.

no but hear me out mr jakowski, having the timurids still exist as a releasable in the 21st century is 100% unrealistic, there should be some designation where dynastic empires like the timurids lose all their cores to other civs when they're gone (because they're not a peoples but a family ruling over iran),  this shouldn't be rolled out unless you roll it out with cultures though 

 

edit: the reason this should be rolled out with culture is because it would make the dissapearance of the core not remove the fact that the former timurid subjects are iranian, i 100% believe that cores shouldn't represent the ethnic makeup of a province (atleast until WW2 age) and instead the provinces should be occupied by peoples

 

example: Cairo, egypt is cored by the mamluks, the province population is 100% Egyptian (because mamluks aren't an ethnic group that lived in egypt, they're circassians, slavs and turks) but the mamluks have egyptian as a main culture, so this causes zero stability problems
