How do I change the background and scale up the world in the Map Editor?

Main map and the map in the MapEditor within the template are small and lack clarity. I would like a large, high-resolution map, similar to 'Earth3'. Furthermore, when I create a province in the MapEditor and load it into the game, the province appears distorted—and this issue isn't limited to coastal provinces.
