Just add core, Adding a core won't delete the core from the province owner.

After you make a full map that you want, before saving it there is something called "cores, population" (idk excatly) and then you select all the provinces that you want to change cores. NOTE: changing owner of the province will reset the changes completly, and sometimes (Read: most of the times) it can disproportionately add peoples nationality. And all of this is tidious as hell.
