angamo123 141 Posted January 28, 2024 (edited) Dear @Łukasz Jakowski in aoh2 civilian casualty count mechanic is very bad, when a battle happend in a occupied province, the civilian casualty will be counted to who is occupying that province instead of owner of that province. Exp usa and mexico have war between them and mexico occupied California then usa attack California to retake, all civilian casualty in that retake battle will be counted to mexico instead of the usa the owner of that province. Age of History as a whole is remembered as game based on conflict and war. War is the pure representation of destruction and chaos. War has consequences and this should be reflected in the game. War MUST have negative consequences to both the player's country and the country which the AI is controlling. This should include weight in the form of civilian casualties. A player should think before launching a yet another attack on another country as it can result in their country being nuked/occupied, resulting in civilian loss of life. Loss of civilian population has an extremely negative effect on the country's economy as a whole. Please Lukasz, include this in the game! Turn civilian casualties from battle and civilian casualties from nuclear attack into percentage value for terrain types like economy grow and population grow in terrain types editor so we can adjust civilian casualties base on terrain types. Example, we adjust civilian casualties from battle in city terrain is 50% of population and civilian casualties from nuclear attack is 50% population but in hill or forest terrain we ajust the values lower like 10% or 0% of population so when there is a battle happened in province has city terrain 50% of its population will be lost but in hill province 10% or 0% of its population will be lost.
